Abstract: Wind power generation has made great development in China in recent years. The paper researches on development course of wind power in Inner Mongolia region, where wind power resources is richest in China and the installed capacity of wind power is largest, and proposes the suggestions of the related development mode and policy. China wind power represented by Inner Mongolia has just experienced rapid growth. The rapid growth of the scale also brings some problems. China government shall refer to development mode and current situation of the countries with a higher development degree of wind power, consider the specific situation of China, timely adjust development mode of wind power, and improve wind power planning and related policies to guide China wind power to continue fast healthy development. Thus, improve the utilization level and sustainable development ability of renewable energy in China.

Abstract: Recently China issued a series of policies that benefit the development of DES/CCHP. We are confident that DES/CCHP fueled by natural gas will boom in recent decades. Operation cost is the key factor that decides if a project will succeed. This paper analyzed three factors that influence the cost of DES/CCHP project: annual running time; comprehensive energy efficiency and the price of natural gas and electricity, reaching the conclusion that the price of natural gas and electricity is the determinant factor to a DES/CCHP project and gas-electricity price ratio is a comprehensive index that indicates the economic expectation of a DES/CCHP project. Considering that no survey has been conducted about the gas and electricity price distributions in China, we collected price data of natural gas and electricity, and got the conclusion that DES/CCHP is more competitive in Northwest region of China, especially Xinjiang, Ningxia.

Abstract: The Utilization type is the most common method of protection the ancient villages in Yellow River Basin. This paper introduces protection mode of tourism utilization type of ancient villages in several ways, which can be divided into four ways in spatial distribution: using old houses for new purpose, building new areas, relocating in new places, making collective imitation. The three ways of management operation for the mode are also introduced , namely, citizen participation, enterprise operation and government domination. The paper also analyzes the potential problems and explores the sustainable development on the historical village tourism and ancient cultural relic’s protection

Abstract: Many ecological environment problems appeared in Chinese characteristic rural areas, such as living environment pollution, arable land area decrease, declining social fertility and rural industrial pollution. Based upon the analysis and induction of these problems, this article puts forward relative strategies on ecological environment protection and sustainable development, including constructing regional ecological landscape structure, promoting ecological agriculture, improving the rural infrastructure, developing the rural tourism, strengthening rural enterprises management, improving rural dwellers environmental awareness level and so on. Furthermore, it conducts a purposive study on Longji area in Guangxi Province.

Abstract: Rapid social-economic development and the ever-increasing water pollutant discharge of Wuliangsuhai lake basin made the water quality deteriorated; the lake eutrophication intensified and heavily restricted the sustainable development of the watershed’s social economy. Wuliangsuhai lake basin was selected as the study area. By the use of system dynamics simulation model the water environment and social economy were connected, and three kinds of improved scenarios (resource-environment constrained type, social economy constrained type, coordinated development type) were proposed based on the inertial and planning schemes. Ten indexes of water environment carrying capacity, i.e. the GDP per capita, ratio of industrial output to GDP, et al., were selected, and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was used. Results showed that, the water environmental capacity utilization ratios of COD and TN in the resource-environment constrained scenario were 69.5% and 57.9% in 2020, respectively. And the water environment carrying capacity index increased from 0.19 in 2008 to 0.31 in 2020. Under the coordinated development scenario, the surplus environmental capacity of COD and TN were 1755.46t/a, 260.21t/a respectively, and the water environment carrying capacity index was up to 0.29 in 2020. The sustainable development plan was proposed and some feasible suggestions and strategies were put forward.

Abstract: A novel TiO2–SiO2 /AC composite photocatalyst was prepared with sol-gel method. The photocatalytic activity of as-prepared photocatalyst was evaluated through the degradation of methyl orange. The optimum preparation conditions were as follows: the Si–Ti atomic ratio was 1:3, the content of AC was 15% and the calcination temperature was 500°C for 2h. Under the optimum reaction conditions as follows: the initial concentration of dye 20 mg/L, pH 3.0, reaction time 120 min, and the dosage of TiO2–SiO2 /AC 2.5 g/L, the removal rate of methyl orange solution was 94.1%.

Abstract: Industrialization process cause a huge material input, waste discharge and environmental impact. To realize the sustainable development of society and reduce environmental pressures are caused by economic and social activities, process simulation of industrial metabolism and its environmental effect analysis have become a hot issues in the international research field. Around the key scientific issues of regional material metabolism, this project fully learn and absorb domestic and international research results. The empirical study focus on energy (coal) and chemical industry base in china, starting from material metabolism analysis of regional industrial system, analyze the relationship between industrial system material metabolic processes and environmental effects, establishing the environmental effects index model of industrial metabolic with the environmental effects analysis; eventually propose the approaches and countermeasures to reduce environmental effect of industrial system material metabolic.

Abstract: In order to analyze the relationship between energy consumption and environmental pollution, grey theory has been applied. By making use of the correlative statistic data, inherent grey relevancy between energy consumption and environmental pollution of China has been discussed as an example, and different impact degrees that various energies consumption have on environmental quality of China has been ascertained by calculating the grey relevancy degree. The results show that fuel oil, coal, coal oil, crude oil and gasoline are the energy varieties that have great impact on environmental quality, while natural gas has less impact on environmental quality. In the end, energy consumption development strategies that can improve environmental quality have been put forward to offer scientific gist for adjusting energy consumption structure, improving environmental quality and actualizing sustainable development between energy consumption and environment.

Abstract: The sedimentary environment of bauxite in Wuchuan-Zheng’an-Daozhen Area has been debated for a long time. Through research on the element B, the sedimentary characteristics of bauxite, the distribution of four different natural types of bauxite and reference paleogeographic data we concluded that bauxite in Wuchuan-Zheng’an-Daozhen Area was a typical sedimentary deposit, with a provenance mainly from south-west. Bauxite was formed in an anoxic bay, which was partly closed and open to north. The sedimentary environment shifted between lacustrine and bay environments, accompanying frequent transgression and regression cycles.

Abstract: Sweet sorghum has the advantage to grow on saline-alkaline barren land, and is very suitable to plant in Gansu province for different uses such as feedingstuff and fermentation material. However, in the previous test, it was found that the biomass of Saccharomyces cerevisiae using sweet sorghum juice produced in Gansu province was as low as 8.5 g/l and could not meet the needs of mass production of yeast and ethanol. To attain high biomass, the optimal culture conditions were investigated. It was found that the proper culture time, temperature, pH and sugar content for yeast growth in sweet sorghum juice were 20 h, 30 °C, 6.0 and 80.5 g/l, respectively. An orthogonal design L9 (34) was used to test the optimal inorganic salt supplement quantity. The results showed that high biomass yield was achieved when the juice was supplemented with 2.0 g/l (NH4)2SO4 which was a little bit different from other report. Finally, the biomass yield of 19.3 g/l and conversion efficiency (yeast to sugars) of 0.452 was obtained in a 10-100 liter bioreactor under the determined optimal conditions. These findings demonstrate that with some modifications on the culture conditions, sweet sorghum juice is a very potential substitute of fermentation material for yeast and ethanol production in Gansu province.
