Abstract: In order to eliminate the negative effect of temperature to resistive pressure sensor of automobile, a calibration circuit is required based on ZMD chip or MAX1452. The traditional calibration way of ZMD is four-point calibration that has the defects such as inefficiencies and complexity. Thus, a simplified calibration way, named as three-point calibration, is provided which is able to simplify the calibration equipment in practical manufacturing. Considerably, the calibration efficiency is improved from about one hour into 5 minutes every time. After calibrated, the output of pressure sensor change only with pressure and the deviation value is from -0.48%FSO to +0.84%FSO,in the designing range ±2%FSO.

Abstract: A Nafion/phosphotungstic heteropolyacid/polypyrrole modified glassy carbon electrode (Nf/PW12/PPY/GCE) was prepared in this paper. The electrochemical behaviours of nitric oxide at the Nf/PW12/PPY/GCE were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. The experimental results indicated that the phosphotungstic heteropolyacid doped in polypyrrole film possessed obvious catalysis for the electroxidation of nitric oxide. In 0.1mol/L sulfuric acid, the anodic peak current of nitric oxide at the sensors linearly increased with nitric oxide concentration over the range of 1.0×10-7~2.5×10-5 mol/L with a detection limit of 3.0×10-8 mol/L. The Nafion layer modified on the surface of electrocatalyst could effectively eliminate the inferences from common species in biological samples such as ascorbate, uric acid and nitrite. The presented methods of determing nitric oxide exhibited high sensitivity and good reproducibility.

Abstract: Tungsten trioxide (WO3-x) with different morphologies was synthesized by hydrothermal method. Using a pair of Pt electrodes and Al2O3 ceramics tube as a substrate, NO2 sensing properties of the WO3 products were measured at different working temperatures. And the high sensing properties at low working temperature were also investigated. The results showed that the sensitivity of WO3 product is strongly dependent on morphology and structure. The parallel circuit mode also plays an important role in the NO2 sensing characteristics. The low working temperature can be attributed to the competitive reaction between O2 and NO2 gas. The parallel mode may increase the lifetime of sensor.

Abstract: For immersion cyclic corrosion test chamber environment is complex, difficult to control humidity and temperature; this paper develops and designs a humidity and temperature control system. There are a fuzzy controller and an expert controller for humidity and temperature adjustment of immersion cyclic corrosion test chamber respectively in this control system. The actual operation has achieved good results.

Abstract: From 2008´s to 2010’s a serious financial crisis forced many sectors to drastically review their production and sales plans. Sectors like the chemical industry were reorganized to deal with the challenging scenario found. The presence of Business Intelligence architecture does not mean that the organization really enjoys the best that this architecture brings. The push of Business Intelligence architecture usage was very important during this critical crisis moment to help on process standardization, data quality improvement and process automation. This article's objective is to demonstrate how the world crisis of 2008, 2009 and 2010 was a great opportunity to improve the usage of business intelligence architecture bringing benefits for a Brazilian chemistry industry.

Abstract: We combined the realism of power network, applied knowledge associated with management of knowledge and human resource to classify and summarize the multifarious data, information and professional skills of power network dispatching operation mode, and then graded the classified and summarized knowledge to make different level of training system for different level of dispatching operation mode personnel. Scientifically reasonable training system would give an incentive to transform dispatching operation mode personnel from being subject to knowledge to being beneficial from it, so that well promote the gird operation stability, reliability and economic.

Abstract: Considerable research effort has been reported in cost-optimal operation of heat exchanger network. However, most of them neglect the pressure drop influence and assume constant film heat transfer coefficients. Pressure drop of streams are important influencing factors for the performance of heat exchanger network operation. In this paper, a general cost-optimal operation model considering pressure drop constraints and removing the assumption of constant film heat transfer coefficients is proposed. It is necessary to determine the pumping power cost required as part of operating cost function. The extended model is applied to one example taken from previous research, and the results prove that the proposed method can obtain more real optimization results for HEN operational optimization problems.

Abstract: Cosmetics are manufactured from various raw materials based on rational formula. In order to obtain cosmetics with good quality and special function, cosmetic raw material selection is very important. The raw material selection is a key technique except for cosmetic formulation. Only structures, characteristics of the raw material were grasped, they can be used correctly and flexibly and new cosmetics can be developed. A suitable textbook about cosmetic raw materials written in Chinese is not available at present. Course construction about cosmetic raw material is needed and urgent. Therefore, a new course, Cosmetic Raw Material Science, is introduced in Shanghai Institute of Technology. It is a fundamental subject for students with major of cosmetics. The course contents and the teaching methods were described in the paper.
