Abstract: Glass facades are significantly affected by the internal microclimate, and because of their use in this way it is necessary to use the secure elements of glass facades. For this purpose, safety multi-layer glass is used, which should fulfil its function after the failure of their integrity. This article describes the experimental destructive tests that indicate the behaviour of multi-layer safety glasses, depending on the thickness of the individual layers of the glass composite. A part of the article is the analysis of the cracks of broken elements depending on their thickness.

Abstract: This paper describes the problems of geometrical thermal bridges and discusses their relative influence on building heat loss. The paper also deals with the use of composite material based on secondary raw materials for elimination of thermal bridges in wall footing detail and flat roof parapet detail.

Abstract: The main idea of the article compares methods for the calculation of thermal stability of rooms in wintertime. The article is focused on comparison of an analytical and a numerical method on the sample room and specification of their differences. The main advantage of the analytical method is calculation in arbitrary time from a steady state without calculation of some previous steps. However, the method doesn’t allow a great variability of composition of constructions. The numerical methods depend on previous steps of the calculation, therefore they require many calculations with little time steps. It enables to define of some complex compositions of constructions and complex modelling of an internal state in the room and its changes in time. The determination of difference rate for different methods will verify their suitability for calculation.

Abstract: This paper deals with numerical modeling of four different wall footing details with the floor above the ground in 2D and 3D temperature field. Then compares the temperature in the corner of the numerical models in 2D and 3D displayed in graphs.

Abstract: The paper is focused on a solution with regards to acoustic problems inside of facilities for sporting activities. The evaluation of the acoustic parameters of the interior was done within a project called "Badminton Centre with Facilities", which was part of a master thesis at the Institute of Building Structures of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, BUT Brno. The given solution and design took into account not only the requirements given by the legislation dealing with building acoustics, but the aesthetical viewpoint of the individual acoustically absorbing surfaces also. The simulations were done in Odeon Auditorium software, which is specialized for the modelling of indoor spaces of buildings. The results of simulations are presented in octave bands with a frequency range of 250-2000 Hz, while the main emphasis is put onto the monitoring of the reverberation time.

Abstract: This paper presented the results of experiments to determine Ug values of heat transfer coefficient on glazed window in the apartment block during heating period. For assessing the values of heat transfer coefficient of the window glazing was used heat flow measurements. Measurements are performed with optimal conditions (without the internal effects of environment) and the other hand with real conditions, when factors such as noise or artificial light affect on the construction of the glazing. Differences Ug - values is demonstrated by comparing the partial results due to transformation of noise and luminous energy from an internal environment to the heat flow in window glazing.

Abstract: This paper deals with the comparison of the effect of the contact thermal insulation in the connection of the loggia slab to the stair wall of construction panel system T 06-B produced in Prefa Olomouc. Measurements took place in two panel houses, where parameters of internal and external air were measured. The thermally insulated building is compared with the untreated building. The temperature factor at the internal surface, which eliminates the boundary conditions of the measurement, was used as a comparative element. The measured values were statistically evaluated.

Abstract: Present constructional systems and architecture designs of wood based buildings with extreme thermal insulations and compositions, which are different from those commonly used so far, bear positive as well as negative impacts on formation of internal environment from the winter and summer period point of view The paper describes methods of optimization (analysis of in-site measurements on reference objects, environmental computer simulation and modeling based on finite methods, thermovision analysis as well as standard calculating methods. On case study it demonstrates possibility of energy effective and optimized envelope construction.

Abstract: Research and development at Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering is focused on the experimental assessment of modern timber structures. For the assessment of the influence of different timber structures on indoor environment a comparative method is used. This method is based on the measurement of indoor environment parameters in the experimental house. There are 4 test (reference) rooms, each of them having the same geometry but a different light-weight composition of envelope which are flexible at the same time.

Abstract: A purpose of this submission is a dynamic analysis of indoor environment on the suitably chosen classrooms, which are situated in loft spaces of Civil Engineering Faculty TU of Kosice. The evaluation was doing by using energy simulation tool DesignBuilder. In this submission there are compared different modes of natural ventilation during a day, with or without night ventilation. The next subject of presented analysis is to consider the installation of the exterior shading elements and their influence on a modification of an operative temperature in classrooms. The purpose of the whole submission is to obtain a dynamic view of indoor environment changes that are determined by internal and external factors.
