Abstract: Domestic researchers paid attention to the ecological society, on the basis of defining the concept of ecological society, they did many researches on analyzing the features, dividing the stage and searching the path, and acquired some theoretical results. We sort out their researching achievements and find there are still some problems.

Abstract: To protect natural resources and biodiversity, nature reserves have been established worldwide. However, the inadequate management is becoming a widespread problem in the development of nature reserves. Therefore, assessing management effectiveness of nature reserve is not only one of the important means to improve and promote the sustainable management level of nature reserve, but also a hotspot in recent research of biodiversity conservation. But until now, there isnt a quantitative assessment approach accepted widely. According to literature survey and the Delphi method, this study set up an index system, including (A) management behavior, (B) protective effect and (C) social influence. Based on this, Huhe nature reserve was selected to verify the applicability of this index system. The results showed that various problems and prioritization of nature reserve management could be identified effectively using this index system, which offers policy makers a tool for a rapid assessment of management effectiveness. In addition, this study will provide a theoretical basis and practical guidance for nature reserve management in China.

Abstract: In this paper, to explore the risk identification, the source term analysis, the consequences calculations, risk assessment, risk management of petrochemical project, a case analysis was conducted, which is a petrochemical company planned 900,000 tons / year of gasoline refining unit construction project. The results showed that the project spill will not spread to the outside environment, the explosion will cause part of the plant severelydamaged, but the accident risk value is lower, the maximum credible accident on the environment could be caused by the less risk. Risk level of the maximum credible accident is acceptable.

Abstract: Comprehensive assessment of soil environmental quality for vegetable-growing land is a complex, fuzzy, random and uncertain system. In order to comprehensively evaluate the polluted degree of soil environmental quality, Bayesian method was applied in this paper. Such an assessment of soil environmental quality on main different vegetable farms of Fuzhou in Fujian province is successfully tried as a case study. The basic data for this assessment soil are collected from 6 monitoring regions. The results showed that the suggested Bayesian method would be a good alternative one for the assessment of soil environmental quality in the future.

Abstract: This paper first analyzes domestic and foreign literature related to artificial reef evaluation, and then summarizes the ecological effects of artificial reefs. Accordingly, a comprehensive evaluation system on ecological effects of artificial reef is established. Further, a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model based on grey clustering analysis is derived and presented. The model takes the artificial reef project in East China Sea as an example. An empirical study is conducted to obtain fuzzy evaluation matrix and grade evaluation result. Finally, the result of model shows consistency with the actual ecological environment which verifies the correctness of the model.

Abstract: In order to unravel the correlation and causality between multi-stressor sources, multi-risk receptors and multi-type ecological effects of the Yulin Coal Mining Area. Through qualitative evaluation, this study preliminarily described the main stressor sources, risk receptors and the largest ecological effect over the Yulin coal mining area and progressive and conductive relation among the stressor sources, risk receptors and ecological effects using the Procedure for Ecological Tiered Assessment of Risk method (PETAR). The PETAR method seems to be operable and effective in evaluating coal mining areas ecological risks with multiple risk sources, risk receptors and multi-type ecological effects.

Abstract: Based on TM remote sensing image and topographic map, the spatial information of landscape pattern was extracted in Hulunbeier steppe in 1995, 2000, 2005 and 2010. With the principles and methods of landscape ecology, landscape fragmentation index, division index, dominance index and fragility index were selected to construct the ecological safety index which was used to quantitatively analyze the dynamic changes of landscape pattern and elucidated ecological safety status in study area. Result showed that the overall landscape tended to become fragmentized and complicated with the total number of patches increasing in the study area from 1995 to 2010. The ecological safety index of landscape types can be classified into four grades, grassland > unused land, wood land > water body, crop land > construction land. Overall, the regional ecological safety status got worse with the ecological safety index of natural landscapes decreasing and the ecological safety index of artificial landscapes increasing. In particular, the area of construction land had a continuous increase with a higher growth rate (7.41% per year during 2005~2010), which will be unfavorable to regional ecological safety as the biggest potential risk.

Abstract: This paper expounded the great significance of the environmental risk assessment in the petrochemical project. The researches on environmental risk evaluation for the petrochemical projects have been made on the basis of the specific case analysis, in which the potential accidents risks of the project have been identified, and the accident rate, the accident consequence and risk have been calculated and evaluated. The result showed that the environmental risk assessment for the project was top grade, and the maximum credible accident risk was on an acceptable level with low risk value.

Abstract: Trying to work out a fast, simple and convenient assessment method for the wastewater of bio-pharmaceutical industry, microcosm, dose-effective relation analysis and fitting function analysis were performed, according to the better reactivity of microbial in pharmaceutical environmental risk assessment, to select representative microbial indicator on the basis of coefficient of fitting function. Among 4 candidates, a significant negative co-relation (r=-0.981, P=0.003) among the mass growths (OD600) of Aerobacter cloacae and the concentrations of artificial composed water was seen with a coefficient (R2) of 0.9626. So the aerobacter cloacae was selected as an indicator, and its equation of fitting function was: y=-0.0634x+0.1623; Risk levels were set according to the fitting function: OD600≥0.1623 no risk,0.0812<OD600<0.1623 low risk,0.0000<OD600≤0.0812 medium risk,OD600≤0.0000 high risk.

Abstract: Taking environmental efficiency as the exclusive indicator for the relationship between environmental performance and industrial development, the author calculated the environmental efficiency of China under different pollutant disposability assumptions, while also considering environmental pollution. In addition, the author uses partial econometric model to interprets the spatial characteristics of environmental efficiency and extracts the main factors that influence the environmental efficiency. The analysis results show that: when impact of undesirable outputs (pollutant emissions) is considered, the average environmental efficiency of Chinas industries declines markedly. Environmental efficiency has the obvious effect of the spatial external effect, and when the government makes energy saving strategies, inter-regional energy cooperation and the proliferation of advanced production technology should be given more priority.
