Abstract: Set pair analysis (SPA) is emerging as a new system theory method for analyzing vagueness and uncertainty of facts. Many problems of uncertainty of fuzziness can be solved with the application of identity-discrepancy-contrary expression. Aiming at the problem being too complex for the present evaluation methods on lake eutrophication, an assessment of lake eutrophication of SPA based on grey relational degree was suggested. The results of the assessment are in concordance with other evaluation methods.

Abstract: Lu'an is classified as national planning coal-mining areas and is also one of most important coal production region in North of China. On the basis of field investigation and samples analysis results, the assessment of geologic environment of the study areas is carry on by means of AHP. The processes of assessment consist of establishment of evaluation index system, determination of weights of each index and outline of geological environmental zoning. The results of assessment can be served as arguments for regional planning and coal producer to prevent, reduce geo-environmental problems and maintain a sustainable and reasonable exploration of coal resources in this region.

Abstract: The study of energy-environment risk is still at a preliminary stage in China, which has not formed a system but focused on risk causes, risk status and future risks. This paper views energy, environment as a system and establishes an energy-environment risk system model from the perspective of risk management. An example using industrial waste gas pollution data of Beijing between 2001 and 2010 is shown. The results prove that the model can assess the practical effect of protection strategies and emission reduction policies. It also provides references for energy planning and sustainable development policy making.

Abstract: This paper gives the model of assessment index system to evaluate the process of green university based on Analysis Hierarchy Process. Based on sustainable development strategy, and according to the principles and the theoretical foundation of evaluation index system, the assessment index system was constructed from running a school with green ideas, constructing green culture, encouraging green scientific research, implementing green education, and building green campus. The weight vectors of the indexes were determined by Analysis Hierarchy Process. The model is beneficial to the evaluation and establishment of green university.

Abstract: Based on the established index system of Community environmental landscape, the Community environmental landscape was evaluated by the second level fuzzy comprehensive assessment model and its quality was divided into outstanding, good, general, poor and bad five grades. In this paper, the Community environmental landscape was comprehensively analyzed by ascertaining the weight coefficient of index and membership functions. Take Zhengzhou People's Community for example, this paper puts forward a new idea of evaluating the Community environmental landscape.

Abstract: With the rapid development of industrial economy, the environmental accidents in china occur frequently. The incessant occurrence of the major environmental accidents makes the environmental risk management gets more and more attention, so establishing effective and viable environmental risk management mechanism and completing the work of the environmental risk management is urgency.

Abstract: In this paper we propose an operative procedure aimed at assessing and check the global environmental quality in the urban areas. This methodology is set up by using an ergonomic approach that analyses the interaction man-environment in terms of cause-effect and uses information and data from various sources contributing to the formation of discomfort degrees.[1-2] The representation technique by normo-grams is used for showing some applications executed along the urban territory of Palermo and allows to evaluate very simply all the parameters involved in human comfort. This paper is divided in 5 sections, after the introduction in section 2 a review of the principal simple and complex indexes is presented, in section 3 the methodology used to assess the air quality is presented and in section 4 some experimental results on some areas of Palermo are presented, finally in section 5 some conclusions are drawn.[3-4]

Abstract: A new assessment model for coastal water quality was proposed based on the nonlinear mapping theory. Taking the water quality monitoring data of Tianjins coastal marine as an example, firstly, the high-dimension water quality data were mapped to the two-dimension plane by nonlinear mapping method. Secondly, the water quality assessment model was established according to the position relationship of mapping points. Then, the water quality was assessed based on the model. Through application we could found the method proposed in this paper was simple and practicable. It is science and effectiveness of applying the nonlinear mapping method to assessment the water quality. It could be used to supply the decision support for the coastal water quality management.

Abstract: Exploitation and utilization of coal resources will cause disturbances to the geologic environment and damages to the geologic environment conditions of the mining area, and lead to damages to ecological environment, formation of geologic hazards of mines and environmental pollution in the mining area. In this paper, current geologic environment of mines is investigated, and geologic environment problems of mines are assessed and prevention and control measures are researched on a basis of classified areas, with Dazhou, which is an important city in East Sichuan and where coal resources are rich and exploited frequently, as an example, to provide reference for protection, treatment and recovery of geologic environment of coal mines in East Sichuan.

Abstract: a risk model to assess the environmental risk of wastewater from the traditional Chinese medicine manufacturers was set to cope with the increasing pollution. The Klebsiella planticola was selected as the indicator because of the sensitive reaction of its mass growth, the highest correlationship(r=0.989) with significance (P=0.001<0.01) along with the change of the wastewater’s concentrations and the perfect coefficient of fitting function (R2=1). The dose-effective relationship among microbial indicator and pollutants, which was analyzed and verified, was adopted to generate a fitting function. The fitting function equation was y=-0.945x4+0.971x3+0.314x2-0.114x +0.301; Thus, different risk levels were divided: No risk (0.2973≤OD600≤0.3010), Low risk (0.3010<OD600<0.4325, 0.1505<OD600<0.2973), Medium risk (0.4325≤OD600<0.5640, 0.1505≤OD600<0), High risk (0.5640≤OD600, OD600≤0.000). The sensitivity and precision of the risk assessment model could be guaranteed by the characteristics of the microbial indicator
