Abstract: As a major indicator of Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome (OSAS) in clinical diagnosis, the monitoring of sleep apnea plays an important role in medical treatments of modern society. This paper proposes a portable sleep apnea monitoring system, which is of high-precision and low-power consumption, and capable of performing the long-term monitoring of OSAS patients multiple physiological parameters in clinical treatments. In the system, the AC modulated detection is adopted, and low amplification ratios are utilized in forestage and a high-resolution AD converter is designed in post-stages. Thus, it is able to acquire, analyze, and process physiological signals in real-time. In addition, ultralow-power chips are used in control system to save the power consumption. The experimental results show that our monitoring system has the strengths of high stability, low-power consumption (peak current90mA), and strong anti-interference ability, which demonstrates the potential in practical applications.

Abstract: Pain monitoring is essential during general anesthesia operations. Previous researchers have found relationship between pulse wave and painful stimulation and introduced parameters based on photoplethysmography (PPG). According to arterial windkessel model, pulse wave transfer function (PWTF) would represent the transmission of stimulation but there was little research on this. A synchronous dual channel PPG acquiring system with ECG circuit and external blood pressure module is built to push on the research. System works well with testers aged from 10 to 65, both male and female.

Abstract: Filled the N330 carbon black, silica T80 carbon black and Al powder and Fe2O3 magnetic nanoparticles, the rubber composites on multi-component electromagnetic fillers were prepared according to orthogonal experiment analysis, and the preliminary experiment conclusions of the filler prescription designs were given; Based on the experiment design, the mechanical properties and thermal conductivity of the rubber composite were tested, and the testing results were analyzed by using variance analysis. Thus, the paper shows that the effects of N330 on rubber mechanical properties are significant, and the effects of Al powder on the rubber thermal conductivity are significant. Moreover, it is highly emphasized in this paper that the orthogonal experiment design must be carefully explored before the tests are executed.

Abstract: This study adopted finite element analysis (FEA) to conduct tests and simulations on the bending moment of truck wheels. Based on the simulated analysis using ANSYS Workbench software, a three-axis strain gauge was attached to locations with substantial stress variations. The strain gauge was converted into voltage. Amplification and filtering circuits were adopted for signal processing, and the processed signals were subsequently entered into the microcontroller unit. Simultaneously, a universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter (UART) communications protocol was applied for communication with the Bluetooth wireless module. The accessed signal was then transmitted to the receiver end through wireless emission. The detection interface at the monitoring end was designed using LabVIEW software, enabling operators to observe the stress and strain for wheels under various test conditions. The acquired data were stored in a computer for future reviews and analysis.

Abstract: In order to reduce the acoustics material loss caused by the temperature and humidity varying of theatre environment as well as monitoring the noise changes, we have built a ZigBee technology based wireless sensor network. By using the temperature sensor, humidity sensor and the noise sensor we can get the environment information efficiently. Moreover, with the help of the context-aware concept in pervasive computing we build up the noise and temperature humidity cognitive management system. Experimental results show that, the system can effectively locate and recognize the noise source. At the same time it can complete effective early warning and propose according to different materials temperature and humidity characters so as to prolong the service life of the materials and improve their performance effectively.

Abstract: In this article, a model which was used to measure wood moisture content(MC) was presented. It was founded under non-uniform and asymmetric conditions and there was no any need for wood shape. It can work out the relationship between capacitance value( ) and dielectric constant( ). Compared with previous methods, it not only can greatly lessened measuring work, but also avoided the waste of media resources, such as wood. At the same time, a new kind of numerical method was given for this problem. The number of unknown variables significantly are reduced by doing this.

Abstract: The result of the experiment using Labview real-time data acquisition and analysis, and considered the backward scattering Angle, detection range, chopper modulation frequency and test factors, thus draws the dust concentration and the relationship between the voltage detection. The results show that the modulation frequency up to 145 HZ, backward scattering Angle as close to ,the detection range as far as possible close to the flue, dust concentration and detection voltage can better meet the linear relationship for the future, it improves industrial smoke concentration on-line measurement provides a basis for the application.

Abstract: This paper represents a high-temperature superconducting (HTS) linear phase filter with self-equalization for WCDMA communication system. of the filter have been presented. The principle, equivalent model, theoretical result, coupling matrix, and the simulated result have been presented. The desired filter with 12-pole and 2 cross couplings has a center frequency of 1950 MHz. The measurement results show that the response of practical filters is in good agreement with that of simulated results and theoretical analysis, the group delay variation is less than ±10 ns over 75% of the filter bandwidth.
