Abstract: A novel Under Voltage Lockout (UVLO) circuit featuring with fast response speed and low temperature coefficient threshold voltages is proposed in this paper. Compared with the conventional structure, the proposed circuit achieves the fast response ability thanks to the current-mode control technique is utilized. Meanwhile, this UVLO realizes hysteretic threshold by a feedback control path to improve the interference rejection capability. In addition, the threshold voltage varies slightly with the variation of the supply voltage and temperature by using a bandgap core. The proposed circuit implemented with 0.5μm BCD technology has an input high threshold voltage of 8.5V and a hysteresis of 1.5V, and start or shut off the power quickly. Test results verified that the proposed UVLO has the qualification to be applied to DC-DC converters.

Abstract: This paper reviewed the solutions to power shaking in distribution network from both grid side and device side. Among them, the grid-side solutions include reinforcing inspections, lighting protection and conducting accident statistics with electricity sectors. Solutions in device side are improving the ability of anti-power shaking of device itself, using dual power supply, application of UPS for important device, equipping fast switching device, application of voltage compensation device, and motor restarting after power shaking. The last part is the summary coping with power shaking in distribution network.

Abstract: The digital integrator algorithm was used to design a fine interpolation open-loop numerical control system with the FPGA as a microprocessor to achieve a three-axis linkage. On the basis of analyzing the digital integrator interpolation principle, this paper is prepared to provide an overall program design, with the simulation being completed by VHDL language programming. As evidenced by the simulation results, the FPGA-based interpolator on digital integration can easily achieve the more complex movement, providing an effective way for the machining interpolation.

Abstract: This paper describes the design and realization of an embedded data fusion system in airplane borne based on 1553B bus. It illustrates the total structure of the system, the design of hardware and system embedded software, such as the development of Ethernet drivers, design and package of data fusion algorithm etc.

Abstract: Two main types of TWDM PON are distinguished by the locations of AWG and splitter. Three self-protection mechanisms i.e., dual fiber bridging pair (DFBP), single fiber bridging pair (SFBP), and single fiber bridging ring (SFBR) are designed based on bridging fiber and can be directly used on TDM part of optical distribution networks (ODN). After combined with the spectral periodicity property of AWG, the three schemes can be used in WDM part too. Each ONU can use monitoring and reporting mechanisms on optical signal to detect the fiber failure. DF then can get self-protection without any service interrupt and loss. The calculation results show the proposed schemes can keep high survivability and connection availability, while the cost, recovery time and power budget are acceptable.

Abstract: In order to protect the health of people who often use computer, a posture correction device based on LabVIEW is proposed in this paper. The posture correction device consists of host computer and slave computer. Host computer is composed by graphical user interface (GUI) programmed by LabVIEW software in PC. Slave computer is composed of the C8051F340 processor with on-chip universal serial bus (USB) peripherals, three ultrasonic sensors HC-SR04 installed on the top, left, right side of the computer display measuring distance between user and PC, and humidity & temperature sensor DHT11. Through GUI and USB communication, host computer can get user instructions and connect and control the slave computer to finish the functions of calculating the distance between user and PC and collecting the humidity and temperature data. Experimental results show that the presented posture correction device has a humanized GUI and can be used expediently and easily.

Abstract: In accordance with the definition of the IEC 61850 standard, a digital substation is hierarchically distributed and divided into the process layer, the spacer layer and the station layer. On the basis of the analysis of its structure and function, this work is focused on the configuration of different layers and that of the dual bus wiring electronic transformer and merged unit, as well as the GOOSE network solution under the relay double configuration.

Abstract: Two kind of frequency modulator to produce multi-frequency light impulse array and a kind of measurement system for light addressable potentiometric sensor (LAPS) array are introduced based on micro-lens and frequency modulator disk. Simulation of FFT is used to analyze the available photocurrent signals of LAPS array with MATLAB. According the simulation spectrum, the corresponding photocurrent signals of light impulse with different frequencies are able to resolve. When the duty ratio is larger than or equal to 30%,the construction of the frequency modulator can be simplified, which further prove that LAPS array with multi-frequency light impulses is provided with reliable resolution .All of above provides enough theoretical foundation for preparation and signal processing of LAPS array device .

Abstract: For the disadvantage of traditional lighting system such as low energy utilization and poor dimming performance, a new intelligent system for LED lighting based on PWM is proposed. The basic principle of the system is discussed and the solutions of the hardware and software are designed. Using the PWM dimming technology, the data from the infrared detector and photo resistor is processed in the MCU to generate PWM signals, which control the switch and regalute the brightness of the LED according to the ambient light. Because the opening and closing of LED takes a form of gradual change, human eye is not fell the dramatic changes of brightness which can contribute to protecting human vision. The results show that this embedded system has a simple structure, small volume, and good real time ability. This system will meet the demand of energy saving, which will be widely applied in many fields such as mine, corridor and underground parking.

Abstract: With emerging large volumes of M2M devices, the existing Universal Integrated Circuit Card (UICC) along with its procedures and processes for managing subscriptions will no longer be a cost-efficient and conventional solution. This article describes a novel alternative based on the concept of remote subscription management scheme (RSMS). The RSMS solution meets the new market requirements generated by industries developing machine to machine (M2M) solutions. Based on international standards and mature security technologies, the proposed solution is trustworthy, cost-efficient, conventional, scalable, sustainable, and makes mobile networks a more attractive means of communication for internet of things (IoT).
