Abstract: This paper proposes a new architecture of multiple transforms for H.264/AVC and AVS-M. With the proposed architecture, H.264 4×4 inverse integer transform, H.264 4×4 Hadamard transform and AVS-M 4×4 inverse integer transform can be merged to process. Due to a new fast 1-D transform algorithm adopted by the architecture, multiple transforms can share the common resources to reduce the hardware cost. The data processing rate of the proposed architecture is 8 pixels per cycle. Under the SMIC 0.18um standard cell library, the optimum operating frequency achieves to 200MHz, and the data throughput rate achieves to 1.6G pixels per second with the hardware cost of 5461 gates. The power consumption is 3.0831mW when the global operating voltage is 1.8V. Due to its high throughput , the proposed design achieve the requirement of 3G applications obviously.

Abstract: A virtual representation of the sparse multipath wireless channel model is proposed based on a physical wireless channel, the channel corresponds to a delay in Doppler scattering angle, uniform sampling in signal space dimensions. This virtual representation model, through the antenna array configuration extension on MIMO channel capacity was estimated. The simulation results show that the three typical antenna array configuration enough that the performance of channel optimal at all SNR conditions can be approximated, reconfigurable arrays can achieve channel capacity expansion purposes.

Abstract: Aiming at satellite-based Automatic Identification System (AIS) signals, a blind carrier frequency-offset estimation method was investigated on AWGN channels. Estimation algorithm that is based on the autocorrelation function and a suitable smoothing function was deduced to estimate the frequency-offset. Simulation results show that its accuracy is better than the earlier methods and reduced the computational complexity.

Abstract: As the key components of the receiver in the GPS(Global Positioning System) system, the performance of the antenna has an important impact on the accuracy of navigation and positioning for a GPS receiver. The paper shows a novel microstrip antenna on the basis of the slot loaded method. The simulated results and the experimental test results indicate that the characteristics of impedance and circular polarization, as well as the radiation pattern of the proposed antenna can meet the requirements of the applications of GPS, which provides the theoretical and experimental basis for the practical applications of the proposed antenna.

Abstract: This project designs a novel musculoskeletal force evaluation system, which could generate continuous varying force, acquire wireless signals and measure surface EMG signals simultaneously. Experiments have been developed to validate the functionality and effectiveness of this design. This system could be used to analyze the relationship between surface EMG signal and forearm musculoskeletal force, which will build the theoretical basis for smoother gesture and force detection in humanmachine interaction control.

Abstract: Based on three regular mesh shapes of the deployable reflector antenna, the article considers the property that the aperture section of the mesh reflecting surface does not exist, the net surface tangential electric field is continuous and the induced magnetic flux does not exist. The gain and main lobe 3dB width of particle feed reflector antenna with diffident woven structures and pore length is simulated by FEKO software. The results showed that when the hole is about 3/40 times of the wavelength, the weaving diameter is about 4/50 of the wavelength The maximum direction coefficient of the triangle weave mesh antenna is 0.3dB lower than the physical metal reflecting surface, and 0.60 higher in the main lobe width.

Abstract: A research on RFID tag antenna for attaching on metallic objects has become a popular issue. On the basis of Yagi antenna, a RFID tag antenna that is suitable for mounting on a metal ground plane is designed in this paper. It consists of a driven element (folded dipole), a reflector and five directors. The analysis of antenna performance is done by HFSS. The simulation results demonstrate that 5dBi antenna gain is achieved when it operates at the frequency of 2.45GHz.

Abstract: Traditional land satellite communication system mostly use parabolic antenna, which is bulky and inflexible. Microtrip arraying antenna also can be used as the antenna of land satellite communication system, however, the microtrip antenna has a low gain and a large loss. In this paper, a novel waveguide horn antenna is designed. The radiation layer is perfect conductor with a octagonal hole in the center. the feeding layer is double orthogonal microstrip-feed plane to achieve bipolaron. The unit antenna size is only 21mm 21mm2.2mm. Gain of 2 2 array was 15dB. The antenna had a simple structure, small volume and high gain, particularly suitable for land satellite communications system.

Abstract: Based on Hilbert theory and technique, a folded tag antenna for RFID application is presented in this paper. In order to reduce the size of tag, a Hilbert fractal structure is employed. Additionally, to match flexibly the impedance between antenna and chip, a folded technique is employed. The input impedance of tag antenna can be adjusted easily by changing the high of folded structure. A designed tag antenna dimension is 23.32mm×7.66mm, and its return loss, bandwidth, gain and theoretical detection distance are given at 2.45GHz by HFSS software. The simulation results show that the designed antenna can meet the requirements of the practical applications.
