Abstract: Detecting carton black is the basis of evaluating carton black’s dispersion, which is important for researching mixing process. Considering the difference of gray between rubber and carton black, K-Means algorithm was adopted to recognize carton black. With the consideration of some deviations where using K-Means algorithm to recognize carton black with small size, rubber image was optimized on the basis of inflection point. Application of optimizing rubber image and K-Means algorithm improves the accuracy of detecting carton black, which supplies support for evaluating carton black’s dispersion precisely.

Abstract: Using flame retardant melamine (MA) as a new aromatic core, biodegradable material poly (lactic acid-co-melamine) [P(LA-co-MA)] with different molar feed ratios are synthesized via direct melt copolycondensation. The structures of P(LA-co-MA) s are characterized by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and GPC. The results indicate that MA moiety as the core is incorporated into the PLA backbone as expected, and the obtained products are copolymers indeed.

Abstract: When poly (lactic acid-co-melamine) [P(LA-co-MA)] is synthesized via direct melt polycondensation (DMP), with the more MA in the feed content, the copolymer with a three-MA-core structure linked by the ether bond is formed. Increasing the molar feed ratio n(LA)/n(MA), the structure of the copolymers is gradually changed from multi-core structure into SPLA structure only containing one MA core, and a peak value of Mw exists as expected. The aromatic cores with different functional groups have an important influence on the Mw peak value, and the internal factors are the conjugate effect and the nucleophilicity caused by the different functional groups themselves.

Abstract: A simple and efficient synthetic procedure of 2',7'-dibromo-2,3,6,7-tetraethoxy-9,9'-spirobi [fluoren has been developed. The new monomer of 2',7'-dibromo-2,3,6,7-tetraethoxy-9,9'-spirobi [fluoren has been synthesized in high yields over five steps from readily available starting materials. The new monomer has good solubility in organic solvents such as chloroform, methylene chloride, tetrahydrofuran, ethyl acetate and so on.

Abstract: Directly starting from D,L-lactic acid (LA) and melamine (MA), novel star-shaped biodegradable material poly (lactic acid-co-melamine) [P(LA-co-MA)] as a kind of potential flame retardant is synthesized via melt polycondensation. When the molar feed ratio n(LA)/n(MA) is 60/1, the optimal synthetic conditions are discussed. After the prepolymerization at 140 °C for 8 h, using 0.4 wt % stannous chloride as the catalyst, the melt copolymerization at 160 °C for 8 h gives the copolymer with the biggest intrinsic viscosity 0.87 dLg-1.

Abstract: In this work, a series of novel bipolar copolymers containing 8-hydroxyquinoline aluminum (Alq3) and carbazole had been synthesized by copolymerization of Alq3 complex monomer and N-vinylcarbazole (NVK), and the luminescence properties of the copolymers were investigated by UV-vis and fluorescence spectra. The results showed that energy can transfer effectively from carbazole group to Alq3. Furthermore, energy transfer process and luminescence mechanism of the bipolar copolymers were discussed.

Abstract: In this paper,cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) was synthesized by using aqueous two-phase polymerization. The Role of surfactants to aqueous two-phase synthesizing CPAM was studied, including the effect of the type,the composition and the concentration of the surfactants. The results showed that non-ionic surfactants had a better stabilizing impact on the polymer aqueous two-phase system. And the effect of the compound surfactant was better than that of a single surfactant. Take the chemical compound of Tween80 and OP10 as the polymerization auxiliaries, the optimum reaction condition of synthesis were as follows: wTween80:ѡOP10=1.5,w=1.6%, 50°C.In this process conditions, the distribution coefficient was the most appropriate in the continuous phase, the total monomer conversion rate and the intrinsic viscosity number of the product reached the maximum.

Abstract: Poly-di (bis-dimethoxy-ethyl) amine phosphazene was synthesized by nucleophilic substitution reaction with bis (dimethoxy ethyl) amine and conductive polymer materials were manufactured by compositing of the lithium salt and polyphosphazene. The results show that: Td10 =503K, the maximum decomposition rate was at 653K. When the mol Li+/ repeat unit was 1.5, the conductivity of polyphosphazene composite conductive material comes up to 4.21×10-8S/cm.

Abstract: Reaction of acrylamide in inverse emulsion, adding Fe (EDTA)2-, with ammonium persulfate (APS) to form complex initiation system, Fe (EDTA)2 - is oxidized to Fe (EDTA)-, the control effect of the Fe (EDTA)- in the inverse emulsion polymerization of acrylamide was discussed. The results showed that acrylamide in inverse emulsion polymerization reaction by adding Fe (EDTA)2-, When the complex concentration is 2.8×10-4mol/L, n [(NH4)2S2O8]::n (FeSO4):n (Na2EDTA)=1:1:1.10, the reaction time was 6 hours, the amount of emulsifier is 3%,the reaction temperature is 40°C , The rate of conversion of monomer Increased in linear relationship with molecular weight, the final rate of conversion of monomer was 93.16%;a kinetic curve showed a good linear relationship, the coefficient of linear correlation was 0.997,Therefore, the Fe (EDTA) 2 - have dual role firstly as a reducing agent of an oxidation - reduction initiator system and secondly as potential catalyst in reverse atom transfer radical polymerization (RATRP) .

Abstract: Series of cationic cassia tora gum (CCTG) were synthesized using 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (CHPTAC) as cationic etherifying agent, isopropanol-water solution as dispersing agent, in presence of sodium hydroxide under different reaction conditions. The optimum ratio for preparing the cationic cassia tora gum are that CHPTAC-CTG molar ratio is 0.6:1; NaOH-CHPTAC molar ratio is 1.3:1.The optimum conditions are that reaction temperature is 55°Cand reaction time is 3.5 h. The cold water solubility was improved apparently. The solution transmittance has corresponding relationship with the nitrogen content (N%) in the certain range, and the maximum transmittance is up to 87.2%. N% increased with the increase of reaction time and stable N% can be obtained in shorter reaction time at higher reaction temperature. The products were characterized by 13C-NMR. The heat resistance of CTG and CCTG were analyzed.
