Abstract: A polyamic acid suitable for either pretanning or retanning wet-blue in leather industry has been synthesized by polycondensing pyromellitic dianhydride with diaminodiphenyl ether. Its performances for improving physical properties of crust leather, reinforcing absorption and fixation of chromium were investigated by applying it in a reduced chromium offer system. The results show that the extension and tearing strength, especially thickness of crust leather can be significantly improved by the polyamic acid, and residual chromium in spent tanning bath could be reduced to below 40 mgCr+3/l by pretanning with the polyamic acid. The chromium released from wet-blue during fatliquoring can be reduced by 85.7%, and kept at a much lower limit of 6 mg/l by the polyamic acid. A much fuller crust leather with shrink temperature of over 95°C can be obtained with 3% of normal chrome powder by pretannig or retanning with the polyamic acid. Therefore, this polyamic acid has the good potential for industrial application in ecological leather.

Abstract: The cross-linked/non-crosslinked styrene-acrylate micro emulsion with high solid content were synthesized using styrene (St), butyl acrylate (BA), acrylic acid (AA), methyl acrylate (MMA), N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide (NMA) as the raw materials by seeded polymerization, and characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and transmission electron microscope (TEM); The coating for the coated paper was prepared by the two kinds of styrene-acrylate micro emulsion, whose effect on the viscosity and water retention of the coating was discussed. The results show that the particles of two kinds of styrene-acrylate micro emulsion are regular sphericity in shape; The apparent viscosity of the coating decreases with the increase of the shear rate, indicating a pseudo-plastic flow characteristic. There is no obvious difference on the viscosity between the two coating under the condition of high shear rate. Compared with the coating prepared by non-crosslinked styrene-acrylate micro emulsion, the coating prepared by cross-linked styrene-acrylate micro emulsion has a bigger viscosity and a better property of water retention.

Abstract: N, O-Carboxymethyl chitosan (N, O-CMC) was synthesized in this study, and the properties of N, O-CMC were affected by the synthesis conditions. Structure of N, O-CMC was detected by fourier transform infrared spectrum (FTIR) and X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) was used to analyze the crystallinity. Potentiometric titration was used to measure the DS of N, O-CMC.

Abstract: Adsorption of copper ion and methylene blue (MB) ion from aqueous solution was performed by natural wheat straw (NWS) and modified wheat straw (MWS) with citric acid (CA) in fixed-bed column. Adsorption behaviors of single system and binary system were compared at same experimental condition. There was higher adsorption capacity of MWS for binding Cu2+ and MB. In the binary system of Cu2+ and MB coexisted in solution, there was competitive adsorption. The adsorption quantity of Cu2+ or MB decreased with MB or Cu2+ existed. NWS and MWS can simultaneously adsorb Cu2+ and MB from mixtures.

Abstract: Poly (butylene succinate-co-butylene adipate)/attapulgite nanocomposites were prepared by melt mixing in a HAAKE mixer. The crystallization kinetics of PBSA and its nanocomposites was studied under isothermal conditions by differential scanning calorimetr. The isothermal crystallization kinetics results indicated that attapulgite can induce heterogeneous nucleation, resulting in an improvement on the crystallization temperature and crystallization rate. Both the PBSA and its nanocomposites were correlated to the spherulitic growth form.

Abstract: The detonation parameters of 2,6-diamino-3,5-dinitro-pyridine-1-oxide (ANPyO) were calculated systematically. The explosive decomposition products were predicted by B-W rules, and the velocity of detonation was estimated by Rothsteines method and Kamlet equation respectively. By means of Cooper method, the C-J pressure was evaluated. The differences of performance and detonation parameters between ANPyO and Me (ANPyO) x were also described. It is shown that the overall performance of Me (ANPyO) x is more excellent.

Abstract: There are large amount of ammonia in coking wastewater. It is a good recycling desulfurizer. Sintering flue gas has the characteristics, such as large amount of, low SO2 concentration, great changes of operation load. Treating sintering flue gas with coking wastewater can attain the destination of treating waste with waste. This paper adopts a spray tower countercurrent device, and SO2 concentration in the entrance and exit flue gas is on line detected by an automatic flue gas detection instrument. The paper studies on the change rule of SO2 concentration in the process of treating sintering flue gas using coking wastewater, and the influence of SO2 initial concentration in sintering flue gas to the desulfurization rate. The results show that after being treated the sintering flue gas can reach the emission standard for air pollutants of iron and steel industry.

Abstract: Three different kinds of preparation methods were contrasted and studied to furfural hydrogenation catalyst for 2 - methyl furan production.Cu, Cr-based catalysts are prepared by three different methods, and the differences were also studied in the structure of these catalysts and their catalytic properties on furfural hydrogenation reaction. From the XRD patterns of samples prepared by different methods of Cu-Cr/γ-Al2O3, The results show that: the metal particle size is:the ordinary impregnation method > coprecipitation > solvated metal atom impregnation method. From the SEM photographs by samples, distribution uniformity of the catalyst ion surface: ordinary impregnation method > coprecipitation > solvated metal atom impregnation method. The reduction degree of the metal: solvated metal atom impregnation ordinary impregnation coprecipitation method. Furfural hydrogenation experimental results show that the order of catalytic activity is solvated metal atom > general impregnation coprecipitation; the selectivity order of 2 - methyl furan: coprecipitation> ordinary impregnation method solvated metal atom impregnation method.

Abstract: Flammability of polyethylene glycol toughened phenolic (PF) foams containing nanomelamine phosphate (NMP), nanomelamine cyanurate (NMCA) or their capsules was studied by limiting oxygen index (LOI). The effect of the nanoparticles and their micro counterparts on flame retardant and mechanical properties of the toughened foams is compared.

Abstract: The technologies of peanut protein beverage product have been studied by signal and orthogonal experiments. The results show that the optimum technology were baking 130¡æ and 20min, pH 6.5, add compound stabilizer (sodium carboxymethyl cellulose 0.15%, xanthan gum 0.05%, sodium alginate 0.15% and pectin 0.10%), sugar 4%, peanut to water was 1:15, skimmed milk powder 0.5% and glycerol monostearate 0.09%.
