Abstract: Quality objectives are targets that are generally specified for relevant functions and levels within the organization. This research may be used as a foundation to build upon regarding the impact of quality objectives on ISO 9001 certified organizations. The impact on quality performance as a result of implementing quality objectives on organizations certified to ISO 9001 was determined. Organizations invest considerable amount of time, money, and resources in establishing and implementing quality management systems compliant with the ISO 9001 standard. Understanding the impact of the implementation of quality objectives on the performance of ISO 9001 certified organizations will support management in establishing value-added quality objectives that optimize the return on investment in ISO 9001 certification, while focusing on bottom line improvements.

Abstract: This paper briefly describes the meaning of the development of frequency conversion technology, lists the application of inverter in all walks of life and takes the application of exhaust system as the example to study and analyze the energy-saving effect of the application of frequency conversion technology based on the similarity law of fans and pumps. At last the paper concludes the application of frequency converter is significant in energy saving through the comparative method.

Abstract: Various exact and heuristic methods have been proposed for assembly line balancing problem (ALBP) but unequal multiple operators have not been considered much. In this paper we present a novel approach of assembly line balancing Type-2 with unequal multiple operators by using an already developed code in Matlab (Tomlab modeling platform). The adopted approach can be applied at line balancing problems ranging from few to hundreds of work elements to achieve minimum cycle time with very less computational effort.

Abstract: The first job of the manufacturing workforce as they get novel drawings is to carry out the process planning. This task, once finished, usually direct both the organization and manufacturing setups. Process planning in manufacturing setup offers a specific and clear chronological path regarding how the product should be running and fabricated in a manufacturing system. In highly developed manufacturing setups, this would persuade, how the setup will be planned and laid out in grounding for the novel product. In this research work, fundamental process plan is developed for a side plate manufacturing together with all design and user requirements. Mathematically modeling is done using progressive closed loop approach. Research then searches the capabilities of optimization techniques like DSM (dependency structure matrix) and a novel stochastic search to provide the best approximate process planning solution. Finally the global optimization is analysed in both the techniques and one technique reaches at optimum solution.

Abstract: The workshop job management system for improving manufacturing productivity and workshop information management plays an important role, while the electronic digital signage is seen as the core of shop floor control system. In this paper, the traditional electronic signage is proposed based on a new electronic digital signage network design, and its integration into the shop floor management systems. This paper developed job shop management system based on web electronic digital signage, the effective integration of existing hardware and software resources of the workshop, rational allocation of production resources of the workshop, the workshop production operations management to achieve digital control, reducing the workshop production costs, improve business efficiency. This paper presents the design of specific methods, and the establishment of a specific management model.

Abstract: Dynamic thermal comfort control can provide comfortable, healthy, and energy-saving indoor environments. The hot / cold complaints occur when the indoor occupants are dissatisfied with the thermal environment. In order to obtain a precise index for thermal comfort control according to individual preferences, A PMV (Predicted Mean Vote)-based cold / hot complaint event method are presented so that the optimization control policies that affect both energy consumption and comfort can be formulated. A mathematical model of the number of cold and hot complaints in a time period t is developed that is based on the level-crossing theory of stochastic processes. Hot complaint experiments were conducted in intelligent environment laboratory. Experiment results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Abstract: Evaluation of power supply enterprise innovation is mainly qualitative assessment of experts, and it is usually subjective and random. So an innovation evaluation index system of power enterprises is set up according to current theory of enterprise innovation combined with the properties of power enterprises. Then grey relationship analysis based on AHP is used for evaluation. Finally a practical case study of power enterprises proves that the evaluation model in this paper is effective.

Abstract: In daily life, the nutrients taken from the food of the human body are often insufficient or surplus, which has a negative impact on human health and waste of agricultural nutrients as well. There is some catering software that can guide people about the intake of the nutrients at home and abroad, but they can only realize the analysis function, that is, tell the user that the nutrients intake is inadequate or exceed the standard. The optimal allocation system of the edible agricultural products' nutrition-functional components is introduced in this paper. It can make the real-time intervention during the users ordering process, adjust diet structure of the user, introduce in detail the process of database and consumption model construction, and gives the flow chart of the system and the hand-held terminal interface.

Abstract: A series of 2-(4-methoxybenzyl)-6-aryl-5-pyrrolidin/piperidin/morpholin-1-ylmethyl-imidazo [2,1-[1,3, thiadiazoles (3a-e, 4a-e & 5a-e) were synthesized by Mannich reaction by condensing 2-(4-methoxybenzyl)-6-arylimidazo [2,1-[1,3,thiadiazoles with pyrrolidine, piperidine and morpholine. The title compounds were screened for antitubercular activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv using the BACTEC 460 radiometric assay. Mannich bases with pyrrolidine substitution were found to be most active antitubercular agents. It proves that as the ring size decreases it becomes much potent in its activity. Pyrrolidine being 5 membered ring structure & further combined with imidazothiadiazole nucleus enhances the pharmacological activity.

Abstract: In this competitive world, where features like time to market, new technology and change management are the features that can affect the performance of New Product Development (NPD). Companies tend to use a conventional approach to NPD by assigning representatives from support functions to review and recommend changes as projects evolve. This approach has, in recent years, been questioned since it is a costly and time-consuming approach due to its iterative nature. It is argued that the change management process can reduced the negative effect and has the ability to support the functions of a supply chain to a greater extent and also earlier in the NPD process. This paper focuses on different change management techniques to support the required changes by management to integrate the NPD within supply chain (SC).
