Abstract: LED chips position is of crucial significance in chip testing, scribing, die spreading, and die bonding. It’s a great solution to indicate electrical characteristics of chips, examine whether the chip pins are up to the standard, and distinguish LED chip quality. Concerning this, an LED chip positioning method based on wavelet transform is proposed in this paper. Firstly, CCD, light and motion control module are adopted to construct and acquire the visual system of LED chip images. Then the images are processed with lowpass filtering and normalization to obtain Hi-Q chips image, and image features are extracted by further using multi-scale wavelet transform. Lastly, high accuracy positioning of LED chips is achieved by employing high-accuracy point pattern matching algorithm. Experimental results show that the LED chip image positioning error is less than 1μm and the position speed is faster than 5 particles per second, which offer new approaches for high-accuracy chip positioning system of detection machines, sorting machines, die bonders, etc.

Abstract: With the rapid development of computer technology, the demand for real-time information is becoming higher, many real-time web applications such as online booking system, stock trading system, instant messaging system, are supposed to send the constant changes of the server to the client in real time. On the basis of in-depth study of WebSocket protocol in HTML5 standard, this paper proposes a new real-time web application solution based on Node.js and WebSocket, aiming to significantly enhancing real-time performance, and more efficiently using the processing power of the server. Finally, the new solution is applied in the game You draw, I guess to theoretically and practically study the viability of the solution and the advantages compared to traditional solutions.

Abstract: This paper proposes a new intelligent video surveillance system based on Android phone. By using Android phone, this system can be deployed easily and quickly. Compare with the traditional surveillance system, this new one uses Android phone to replace the large and expensive surveillance cameras. In addition, the functions of back-end equipment of the traditional system have been moved to the front-end equipment. With a modified invasion detection algorithm, the front-end equipment becomes more intelligent. This schema can significantly increase the mobility and flexibility of the entire system. Therefore this system will have a better performance dealing with emergencies in different surveillance scenarios. Moreover, this state-of-art intelligent video surveillance system not only brings a new method for surveillance, but also advances the development of surveillance techniques.

Abstract: Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) is based on swarm intelligence and it is a constructive meta-heuristic which was first presented in 1991. Job Shop Scheduling Problem (JSSP) is very important problem of the manufacturing industry. JSSP is a combinatorial optimization problem which is NP-hard. The exact solution of NP-hard problem is very difficult to find. Therefore heuristics approach is the best approach for such problems. This paper shall overview the application of ant colony optimization on JSSP and Flexible Job Shop Scheduling problems (FJSSP). This paper shalll cover the major areas in which researchers have worked and it shall also recommend the future area of research in the light of this overview. This paper will also cover the quantitative analysis of the research papers which are considered in this survey. Based upon this survey some conclusions are drawn in the end.The significance of this paper is that it has covered all the efforts and major researches in the area of ACO application on JSSP and FJSSP through the inception of ACO metaheuristics. This enables the researchers and scheduling experts to overview chronologically the development of ACO on JSSP and FJSSP.

Abstract: This paper gives an attempt in determining an appropriate production batch size by using simulation method. The case study of this paper is an industry producing hard disk drives in Thailand. The scope of the production process considered in this paper is in the backend area of the production process of hard disk drives. Three main customers are considered. Each customer requires different sample size in an inspection process and the sample size affects bath size. Therefore, this paper needs to consider each customer separately and tries to determine an appropriate batch size for each customer. First, data collection of the process and its details are given. The as-is simulation model is constructed. Outputs, production lead time, work in process and machine utilization are used to verified the as-is model. The statistical method is used to compare between those in the real system and those based on the model. Further three levels of batch sizes are analyzed by using the simulation model. It is found that each customer type requires different batch size.

Abstract: In order to realize a low-carbon society, the introduction of low-carbon energy resources in the local (both urban and rural) energy systems, which plays a main role in the total CO2 emissions, is being paid more and more attention. In this study, the paths toward regional de-carbonization are indicated by conceptualizing systematic “urban-rural cooperation” that creates regional circulation of energy resources (e.g., biomass). As an illustrative example, an investigation has been conducted of assumed distributed energy systems for a model city in China. By extending a pre-developed plan and evaluation model to include not only cost minimization but also emissions minimization, the proposed wide urban-rural energy systems are examined from both economic and environmental viewpoints.

Abstract: At present, with the continuous increase of the nautical navigation density and the number of large size & specialization of the dangerous cargo vessels, the potential risk of oil spill accident from ships has been growing. On this background, this paper analyses three major factors affecting the risk assessment of ship oil spilling; then uses the gray theory to establish multi-level gray evaluation model and calculates the gray evaluation coefficient, weight vector and weight matrix; at last, the paper gives a comprehensive evaluation and makes example verification according to the calculation result. The result shows that this model has the characteristics of simple in calculation, clear in level and credible in the result.

Abstract: To solve problems that exist in optimal design such as falling into local optimal solution easily and low efficiency in collaborative optimization, a new mix strategy optimization method combined design of experiments (DOE) with gradient optimization (GO) was proposed. In order to reduce the effect on the result of optimization made by the designers decision, DOE for preliminary analysis of the function model was used, and the optimal values obtained in DOE stage was taken as the initial values of design variables in GO stage in the new optimization method. The reducer MDO problem was taken as a example to confirm the global degree, efficiency, and accuracy of the method. The results show the optimization method could not only avoid falling into local solution, but also have an obvious superiority in treating the complex collaborative optimization problems.
