Abstract: This study proposes a planning model for developing an ecological corridor in the proposed low-carbon city in Shenzhen. Employing research methods involving RS, GIS, and landscape indicator analysis, this paper identifies the priority strategic points (links) for the development of an ecological corridor in the study region. Based on the findings of the research, this study suggests several operational strategies for ecological corridor planning and related land development management.

Abstract: Body has been incorporated with architecture because of media technology. Through literature reading, the paper takes some projects of Stelarc, Nox Architects and Marcos Navok as examples and analyzes characteristics and methods of the incorporation with body, media and building. Combination of body and media influenced the traditional comprehension of space perception and stimulated the relationship of body and Architecture. The discussion reveals incorporation with body and media became an important factor in the evolution of architecture.

Abstract: The development of Chinese senior residential communities is just in the fledging period. Hence, the planning, design and other related experience is very limited. Some newly built senior residential communities, were duplications of successful projects in developed countries, with some minor changes. These new endeavours were lacking in enough comprehensive considerations regarding local cultural and social backgrounds during the fast construction requirements. Through the utilization of documentary research and case studies, this paper examined and compared the international and domestic cases, in order to decipher the exiting problems and challenges regarding these newly built senior accommodations. Coming from the perspectives of planning and architectural design, this paper proposes some improvements regarding satisfying the seniors physical and psychological requirements based on Chinese culture and the social backgrounds and practical requirements of the seniors.

Abstract: The core concept of the ecological environment is a benign cycle in line with the design of systems, which needs to overcome the difficulties of a few difficult; green design must be the ultimate development of the industry as a strategic goal, only after a long a historical stage of the efforts to achieve the ultimate indoor green design for human dwelling in the land of poetry to the ideal.

Abstract: With the improvement of people's living standard, more and more diversified demands for residential space are put forward. Several structures can meet the requirements and they were studied here in order to solve large-space problem.

Abstract: The large space residential system of staggered arrangement wall is studied, from two aspects of theory and model experiment, it proved the application feasibility of this structure system. Not only can it obtain larger interior space, but also can it have a simple mold, convenient construction, economic good benefits.

Abstract: Combined with climatic feature and peasants economic condition in existence,starting with engery conservation design of grange and analysis of reconstruction technology,the writer briefly expound the operative technology of engery consevation and the reconstruction technology of auld grange,from the point of envelop enclosure,heating system and new energy resource,which is now suitable for the new grange in the Jilin province.

Abstract: According to the greening construction to improve the effect of micro climate,we analyzes several greening measures to the influnence of building thermal environment, and have the conclusion:Greening can greatly improve the building indoor thermal environment, save energy, have the effect to beautify the city and improve the urban ecological environment.

Abstract: With the environment increasingly worsening, global warming has become an environmental problem challenged around the world. The cognition of low carbon and environmental protection has been widely spread and applied in urban planning construction. Universities are the frontiers of scientific research. At university such aspects like construction energy conservation and the use of new material have been put into practice, and under the guidance of planning, construction, management departments and others, the ideas of low carbon and ecology is promoted to build the campus with sustainable development. Universities play a leading role for all walks of life in society.

Abstract: Abundant historic buildings still exist in Shanxi, of which architectures built in Song, Liao and Jin Dynasty are in the majority, especially the number and area of murals in this period ranking first in the nationwide, which embody the essence of Chinese traditional culture with great artistic value. The constant abundance and development of culture and art in ancient China are represented on murals of this period, and valuable materials have been provided for our understanding towards the painting technique of ancient murals in Shanxi, which is beneficial for our study on the historical origin of traditional architecture and mural art meanwhile. This paper focuses on the discussion and analysis comprehensively of 6 existing murals including murals of Shousheng Temple of Ruicehng, Shanxi, murals of the Great Hall of Mahavira in Kaihua Temple, Gaoping, murals of Sheli Tower in Jueshan Temple of Lingqiu, murals of Sakyamuni Pagoda in Fogong Temple of Ying County, murals of Amitabha Hall in Chongfu Temple of ShuoZhou and murals of Wenshu Hall in Yanshan Temple of Fanshi.
