Abstract: In 2009 the Municipality of Rome (MR) started a re-qualification program for the street markets through the use of public-private partnership (PPP). This program concerns strategic areas and buildings within the city of Rome, including the Flaminio II street market located in Via Guido Reni in the Flaminio district. In summary, this paper intends to: i) examine the Flaminio II market pre-feasibility project elaborated by MR; ii) with reference to the PPP regulatory framework, show a further proposal to be compared with the proposal by MR. This further proposal represents the first alternative solution, drawn up in order to guarantee that following PPPs concerning street markets are approved by MR; it will be implemented in a concerted way, which will take into account the actual needs of the local stakeholders.

Abstract: Ningbo affordable housing space layout has three characteristics: The distribution is wide with individual high concentration at the city level; The location is mainly in urban-rural fringe at the administrative region level; The foundation facilities are generally imperfect at the community plot level. Then this document analyses the layout advantages and disadvantages. The advantages:part of the community supporting facilities is perfect;space usage of adjust measures to local conditions;combined with the construction of affordable housing in the new area development and construction;and construction of affordable housing is not isolated . The insufficient: remote location, construction Within the scope, part of the public service facility has location bias, far from the employment area of guaranteed residents, and surrounding environment needs to be improved.

Abstract: The research on new rural community construction is a comprehensive problem that is related to politics, economy, culture and management,etc. With the planning design and construction process of the new rural community as the key research subject, this paper summarizes the characteristics of successful new rural community construction, analyses the problem existing in the process of planning and construction practice, and puts forward some measures for the planning and construction of new rural communities and suggestions. Therefore, the research may be used for reference in making reasonable construction planning scheme, improving infrastructure construction, saving rural land, improving the production enthusiasm of farmers, and enhancing government efficiency for the new rural community construction in the future.

Abstract: Focusing on high rise residential gated community, this article concentrates on evaluating the effectiveness of surveillance factors in gated community in influencing the residents perceptions of safety at the shared outdoor spaces. Five common shared outdoor spaces in gated community were identified based on the literature review and extensive observations. These were measured and tested through a combination of questionnaire surveys, in-depth interview and unstructured direct observation techniques. Results revealed that the effectiveness of natural surveillance gave the most significant influence on the residents perceptions of safety in the shared outdoor spaces compared to the organized surveillance and mechanical surveillance in gated community.

Abstract: Under the background of constructing Beautiful Country in new period, we focus on studying the effect way and influence of ecological civilization construction, agricultural modernization, new urbanization and regional space peculiarity conservation on various rural spaces in Southern Jiangsu. We specifically propose rural spatial restructuring strategies and guide rural spaces in Southern Jiangsu to rationalized restructure in new period.

Abstract: The ecological planning method of land use in the urban overall planning is discussed here. Based on the brief analysis of the common thoughts on ecology in today’s front planning ideas, this paper analyzes the ecological effects of clear space frame and scientific function mixture in the land use planning as well as the urban environmental contradictions which can be solved by the ecological planning method. In addition, a planning method of ecological land-use which is deep, detailed and practical in overall planning will be discussed.
