Abstract: In this paper, By observing that the infinite triangle obtained from some generalized harmonic numbers follows a Riordan array, we obtain connections between the Stirling numbers of both kinds and other inverse generalized harmonic numbers. Further, we proved some combinatorial sums and inverse generalized harmonic number identities.

Abstract: The present paper is a research on problems of measuring Business Intelligence (BI) System Success. The well-known system of Information System Success by DeLone and McLean and Business Intelligence Capabilities Framework were reviewed to develop a framework for evaluating Business Intelligence (BI) Success. We hypothesize that BI Capabilities (Data Type Quality, Data Source Quality, Flexibility, Interaction with other Systems, User Access Quality) are positively connected with BI Success. Our hypotheses are tested with survey data. The respondents are CEOs, CIOs and BI specialists of Russian-based companies. Structural equation modelling exhibits a good fit with the observed data. Our results show, that BI Capabilities have a strong influence on BI System Success. However, there is more work to be done, because some of the hypotheses are not supported. The present paper contributes theoretically to Information System Success domain by expanding research about Business Intelligence System Success.

Abstract: There is growing use of business intelligence (BI) success for better decision-making in many organizations. However, there is a lack of empirical studies on BI Success in academic research. Data Quality is of high importance to employees on every organizational level. The present research investigates Data Quality-BI Success relationship from an organizational dynamic capability perspective. Organizational dynamic capability is the ability to sense and respond to market opportunities and threats with speed, and BI can be of great use in that sensing role of organizational dynamic capability. Drawing on the dynamic capabilities framework, and literature about business intelligence and data quality, we hypothesize that BI Success and Data Quality relationship is moderated by organizational dynamic capability. A research model was developed to define the relationship of BI and Data Quality with organizational dynamic capability. Survey data were collected and used to assess the model. The results of the research show that better data quality is of significant value for organizations, as well as it can be a source of organizational dynamic capability and competitive advantage.

Abstract: By using numeric iteration method, the algorithm of solving the lower reliability confidence limit of binomial distribution is realized with Matlab programming techniques. A method to choose the initial value is proposed, and the initial value problem which the equation solving is sensitive to is solved. This algorithm can solve the Lower Reliability Confidence Limit of Success or Failure mechanical products of any quantity, any number of failures, at any confidence level at will. The precision of the result is higher than the look-up standard-given data, and by the method, data which cant be found in standards in projects can be supplemented.

Abstract: Taking the process of Argon oxygen smelting low-carbon ferrochrome as the research object using the multi-rules fuzzy control, the signal of sound intensity is divided into different segments. According to the different segments,control the oxygen flow rate, nitrogen flow rate, the height of Oxygen lance and the addition amount of foam inhibitor, complete the design of the fuzzy controller, then carries on the simulation under MATLAB.The simulation results show that in different segments, the time of the system achieve stability is different, but when the sound intensity stability in 30-50 normal range and the system adjustment time in 3-5 min is a relatively stable system and able to suppress spillage occurs quickly.

Abstract: On the basis of analyzing the current situation of engineering training in colleges, the engineering training model based on project-driven is pointed out. It is considered that constructing the course teaching system on major-division not only mobilize students innovative initiative, cultivate innovative spirit, and enhance the ability of engineering practice, but also raise training efficiency and effect by this new teaching means.

Abstract: Flow-deformation coupled unsaturated soil model is built based on rainfall infiltration condition and modified Mohr-Coulomb failure criterion according to modeling a tailing dam with ABAQUS software. A few conclusions are obtained by adopting proper hydraulic curve soil water characteristic curve and compared with actually measures data. Studies yields provide foundations for simulation analysis on tailing dam on the condition of rainfall infiltration.

Abstract: The creep characteristics of red layer sliding soil under the condition of different vertical loads and water contents were studied through a series of direct shear creep tests. Tests results showed that the water infiltrated to the sliding zone along the fissure of red layer sliding belt due to the crush of red layer sliding rock, leading to softening of sliding zone and acceleration of shear creep. When the shear stress reached the limit of long-term shear strength, sliding soil was broken suddenly with small vertical loads (50 kPa and 100kPa), while the sliding soil presented as a constant acceleration creep with enough vertical loads (200 kPa and 300 kPa). The inflection point in shear stress-shear displacement isochronous curve corresponded to the long-term strength of the soil.

Abstract: This paper analysed the significance of project teaching in design direction and the way to carry out,we elaborated total curriculums arrangement based on actual design case,and then put forward the theory that in the revolution theory teaching and practice should be connected. In the background of taking actual project as design practice item,expounded how to develop students’creative ability、innovative thinking ability during teaching,at last it raised solve methods for questions what we might meet during the teaching stage.

Abstract: The energy finite element analysis (EFEA) is more effective for analyzing high frequency vibration problem compared to the traditional finite element method (FEM). When applying the EFEA to complicated structures, it is necessary to obtain power transfer coefficients at structural joints. This paper proposes the theoretical formulations of computing power transfer coefficients between two 3D semi-infinite solids, and demonstrates the validation of the developed theoretical formulations through two examples with different incident waves: dilatational wave and distortional wave.
