Design of Robot Obstacle Surmounting or Avoidance with Two Arms in Unknown Environment

Abstract:

For performing the best motion capability in complex environment of robot with two swing arms, the motion strategy of obstacle surmounting or avoidance is used with four infrared sensors information. The motion mechanism is analyzed to build the relationship of step height and arms swing angle and the forward and backward step-climbing process is draw. The hardware system is built by chuang yi zhi xing modular robot and the experiment result shows that the robot can move in more complex environment.
