Abstract: The paper predicts the melting of solid-liquid organic PCMs for energy storage by the use of activity coefficient. Single parameter Margules Equation was built for alcohol - carboxylic acid series of binary systems by improving single parameter Margules Equation and introducing new variable temperatures, from which T-X phase diagram was obtained. The results are helpful with prediction of multiple phase change materials with the suitable phase transition temperature.

Abstract: The research progress and university education situation in ecological environment functional materials (EEFMS) in China were analyzed. A new subject of EEFMS involved in many subject knowledge, such as materials, energy and environment, has come into being due to the rapid development of the advance industry of energy and environment materials in the last decade, as well as a serial of new industries of micro-environment control functional materials, and so on. At the same time, the university education was accelerated in the direction of the research in EEFMS.

Abstract: For nearly thirty years, there has been made great progress in micro-polymer chemistry experiment teaching which has these characteristics that using less reagents, less pollution and more portable in comparison with the conventional experiment. In China, Zhou Ninghuai and others began to go on micro-scale experiment research firstly and Professor Li Qingshan who brought this innovation to polymer organic synthesis experiment has done a lot of works in micro-polymer chemistry experiment teaching. To carry out the study of micro-polymer chemistry experiments not only accords with teaching methods and reform, but also conforms to the trend of the times of green chemistry. So the research and application of micro-polymer chemistry experiment have broad prospects.

Abstract: The compound technological talents training of power source and ecomaterials (PSEM) is one of the most important development strategies for constructing a resource-saving and environment-friendly society. Effective Quality Engineering (EQE), using the engineering method to solve the quality problem of a new product, is a basic theory method. In this paper, the quality design method of EQE was integrated into the teaching of inorganic non-metallic professional courses. On this basis, the teaching mode of initiative introduction and requirement assisted reading was discussed. After six years of teaching practice, it is proved that the basic theory of EQE and the new teaching ways can be effectively applied to the training of compound technological talents of PSEM. Especially, through this method, the designed materials exhibit optimal quality.
