Research on Influence of Technology of Bimetal Fluid-Film Bearing Manufacturing on Microstructure and Microhardness of Antifriction Coating and Steel Base

Article Preview

Abstract:

The paper features the results of metallographic studies and measurements of microhardness of the antofriction coating and surface layer of a bimetal fluid-film bearing base. The character of influence and the peculiarities of the process of adhesion of antifriction coating and the basic material of the part were identified. The analysis of structural changes occurring during the distribution of temperature in the surface layer of the part was implemented.
