The analysis of the results shows that the resistance of the structure to cavitation erosion is dependent on the type of alloy, the degree of brittle intermetallic compounds and the mechanical properties specific to toughness.
All the alloys show a structure with acicular precipitates and inclusions of intermetallic compounds of aluminum such as CuAl, MgSi, MgZn, etc., compounds on which the resistance to cavitation stresses depends, because they contribute to the decrease of the strength of the structure by weakening the bonds between the basic grains and by creating crack primers.
It can be seen that in alloys 5083 and 6082 the number and sizes of intermetallic compounds are greater than in alloys 2017 A and 7075.
The resistance to cavitational erosion of aluminium alloys in the laminated state, expressed by the values of the reference parameters Mmax and vs, is dependent on the degree of alloying, the type of the principal alloying chemical elements, the values of the mechanical properties, the intensity and the size of the brittle intermetallic compounds. 2.

In connection with the above, the aim of our work is to study ternary compounds of the system that can be used to produce alumina cements.
Lapin [15] obtained the triple compound BaCaAl4O8 from slag formed during the smelting of aluminum-barium alloys.
Using this method, we calculated the electronegativity of compounds (ENsol.) as the geometric mean of the electronegativities of the elements that make up the compound.
Physico-mechanical properties of ternary compounds of the system CaO–BaO–Al2O3 Compound W/C The term of stiffening [hrs. - min.]
The binding properties of the synthesized ternary compounds and compositions of the system were evaluated.

The aim of the research was to develop an amorphous and microstructured layer on non-amorphous alloys by laser surface treatment.
The aim of the research was to produce an amorphous and microstructured layer on non-amorphous but amorphisable alloys by laser surface treatment because the mechanical properties between the layer and the substrate could better.
Experimental Materials and Methods Different alloys were used in the experiments.

Cryorolling as one of SPD techniques is to roll the metal or alloys at cryogenic temperature.
This paper is aimed to compare the cryorolled Al-Cu-Mg alloy and room temperature rolled alloy.
Fig. 4 shows the BF TEM micrographs and corresponding SAD patterns of peak-aged Al-Cu-Mg alloys aged for 24h.

The aim of this work is to investigate the optimum heat treatment for Al-5.7Si-2Cu-0.3Mg aluminium alloys and study its effect on microstructure, phase transformations, and hardness.
In both the as-cast and as-cast-T6 alloys Al, Si, Al2Cu, β-Al5FeSi, and Al5Cu2Mg8Si phases compound were detected clearly occurred.

As a result of the addition of Co to the filler material, Co-compounds, CoTi, AlCo and CoO, were detected.
However, Ag does not react or form compounds with any of the elements in the sample. 3.
Again, CuO and AlCu compounds were formed.
X-ray diffraction also shows the formation of Co compounds, mainly CoTi, AlCo, and CoO.
