It is well known that Si or SiO2 is a network former, which could make crankshaft-like chain structure of celsian instable and enhance the layer structure of hexacelsian formed.
This implys that not only could the additive Li2O promote the formation of celsian from hexacelsian BAS below 1590°C, but could also stabilize the structure of celsian above 1590°C.
It is well known that Si or SiO2 is a network former, which could make the crankshaft-like chain structure of the (Al,Si)O2 tetrahedra in celsian instable and promote the layer structure of the (Al,Si)O2 tetrahedra in hexacelsian formed.

The particles can be synthesized for required size, morphology, tunable surface chemistry and magnetic properties for bio applications [2,3,4].
At t-45, the fiber form is deformed by intake and motion of water during hydrodynamics, the fiber form is transforming into film like structure Fig.8c.
At t-60, it is clearly observed that a thin layer like structure is deposited over the nanofiber, which indicates the transformation of polymeric layer from fiber to film form.
Fig.8d, it is also observed that the fibers were swelled and diameter is increased, it is a clear evidence from these images Fig.1a and Fig.8d for transformation from fiber phase to film structure.

These two chemistries show significantly different grain morphologies.
Furthermore, the fact that these chemistries have different morphologies indicates that they should have significantly different edge energies.
The diffusivity of a grain boundary depends on its local structure (intergranular films, chemical distribution, etc), and the significant differences in the grain boundary mobility are related to the difference in diffusivity.
Tang et al. have coined the term 'complexion' to describe a boundary that has a distinct interfacial structure or chemical profile that is not defined by the rotational and translational degrees of freedom or its relative roughness, although these factors may influence the presence of a particular complexion.[32] Recent work by the authors has shown that there are 6 different types of grain boundary complexions in alumina.[33] These 6 are shown schematically in Fig. 7 and include Langmuir-MacLean adsorption, a 'clean' boundary, disordered segregation, multilayer adsorption, a non-wetting thermodynamically stable intergranular film, and a wetting intergranular film.[33] These different grain boundary types are listed in order of increasing grain boundary mobility, and there is a general trend towards increasing mobility with increasing grain boundary disorder.[33] Any microstructure that contains two or more of these different complexions distributed amongst one another
Two types of grain boundaries with similar structure may have approximately the same average mobility, by diffusion controlled growth, because they may have a similar level of defects such as vacancies, which mediate diffusion.

Influence of the Support on the Size and Shape of Gold �anoparticles The structure and size of the gold nanoparticles supported on anatase titania were studied with High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy (HRTEM) using a FEI Tecnai T20 microscope, equipped with an energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) system.
In particular, for Au1/TiO2, the nanoparticles show an egg-shell form, which is attributed to the growth of gold nanoparticles in a cuboctahedral truncated structure [21-24].
It was observed that the gold nanoparticles grow favorably in a cuboctahedral structure on the TiO2 anatase phase (0.3478 nm); according to the JCPDS standard 21-1272.

The addition of argon to a methane ECR plasma results in increased hydrocarbon ion concentrations at the depositing surface via gas chemistry selection [5].

The FTIR analysis substantiates that the Si-CH3 groups exist in the silica network and the formed Pd/Ag/SiO2 sol particles possess linear structure.
The influence of Pd/Ag molar ratio on the sol particle size distribution, stability and chemical structure were investigated.
The FTIR spectra are usually used to determine the chemical structure of some materials.
The Si-CH3 groups exist in the silica network and the formed Pd/Ag/SiO2 sol molecules possess a linear structure.
The formed Pd and Ag crystals are both face-centered cubic structure.
