The adsorption capacity of absorptive materials and silica aerogels were investigated by referring
to the national standard of activated carbon
adsorbing property (GB-T12496.5- 1999).
2.
As to solid absorbent materials, it is very hard to describe kinds of adsorption process with a single simple principle.
So adsorption models have been theorized to investigate the behavior of adsorbed materials on the surface adsorption layer of solid.
Functional Material.

Not only the variation of temperature will influence the structure deformation and property of
material, but in reverse the structure deformation will also influence the boundary conditions in the
temperature field analysis.
Fig.3 Sketch of continuous roll casting process Basic hypotheses In order to set up mathematic model for thermo-mechanical coupling analysis of continuous roll casting, some basic hypotheses are needed as follows: 1) Since the width to thickness ratio is very large, so the end effects can be ignored and geometry of the process can be approximated as two-dimensional; 2) The elastic deformation is ignored, as it is quite smaller than the plastic deformation in such process; 3) Material obeys to Mises yielding rule and its flow deformation to stress-strain rate relationship; 4) Material's bulk cannot be compressed; Casting rolller Casting tip Liquid state Solid state Solid-liquid coexist state x y 5) Body force and inertial force are also ignored; 6) Material is homogeneous and isotropic.

As adhesive materials the Hero Gum (based on silicone) and GMSA (based on organic polymer) were used.
It was stated that the limitation in the sizes of the particles , as it was observed in the case of nano-particles, have led to the increase of efficiency of the thermoelectric cells fabricated on the base of these materials in comparison with the ordinary materials of the same composition.
