To maximize the performance of engineered fibers by ensuring straight fiber alignment, non-crimp fabrics (NCFs) are particularly suitable as reinforcements for biaxial or multi-axial warp knitted FRCs [10].
The research presented will significantly advance the production of application-specific precast concrete structures and high performance composite materials, such as 3D reinforcement structures and the processes required to achieve them, in terms of increased productivity, cost efficiency and significantly reduced manual effort.
