X-ray photoelectron spectrometry (XPS) is a non-destructive characterization technique and is a very useful tool that allows to identify the elements that exist within a material (elemental composition) or are covering its surface, as well as its chemical state, the general electronic structure and density of electronic states in the material.
Additionally, the inset in Fig. 4a shows the simulated electron diffraction by Fourier transform of the TEM micrograph, where a reciprocal space of a monocrystalline material can be seen.
Since CdS is a direct bandgap material, n=2.
These kind of modifications enables band gap engineering, which is a key element of the design and fabrication of efficient optoelectronic devices [58,59] Fig. 6.

As many of the engineering properties of steel or malleable iron can be duplicated with ductile iron casting, the world production of ductile iron castings has continued to increase since it discovered (Fig. 1b, c) [1, 4].
The following three charge variants can have an effect on whether REE are required and the quantity needed: (1) High quality/cost charge materials, i.e. high purity pig iron (HPPI), premium steel scrap and controlled ductile iron scrap, will lead to very low levels of trace elements in the base iron [K < 0.8].
(2) Medium quality/cost charge materials, i.e. inexpensive pig iron, controlled ductile iron returns iron and steel scrap, having relatively reduced levels of trace elements [K values between 0.8 to 1.2].
(3) Using low quality/cost charge materials, i.e. inexpensive pig iron and inexpensive ferrous scrap, which result in a high level of detrimental trace elements in the base iron [K > 1.20].
REEs are a key factor in developing modern military technology, including critical military-based technologies such as precision-guided weapons and night-vision goggles.

In addition to the low-molecular materials, the polymer materials have also been widely examined.
Such strong injection into low mobility materials inevitably leads to charge accumulation in organic materials.

In the early 1990s, at Eket in Niger Delta of Nigeria, ten engineers including many oil rig
workers lost their lives following oil-well blow out.
The analysis of the collected cases showed that the removal of the human errors is the key to preventing these near miss cases that have the potential to lead to actual accidents [33].
The aim of this study is to underscore the need for the application of concurrent engineering during the design stage of oil facilities projects and also to point up the need to imbibe apposite HAZOPS and HAZIDS philosophies, in work locations as a means arresting trend in work related accidents in the Nigerian oil industry.
The Markovian model employed provided decision support tool for assessing the effectiveness of HAZOPS and HAZID schemes adopted based on the case material obtained.
