Experimental 2.1 Synthesis and Characterization The nanoparticles were synthesized by co-precipitation method using CuSO4.5H2O (Merck) and Al(NO3)3.9H2O (Merck).
In the FT-IR spectrum of the prepared CAO nanoparticles (Fig 3 (a)), the bands observed at 614 and 693 cm-1 and the shoulder around 800 cm-1 could be assigned to the vibrations of the Cu-O, Al-O and the Cu-O-Al bonds[38-40].

Saravanan et al. reported that morphology acts as a potential factor that influences the final degradation efficiency [4].
Zuo et al. proved that facet effect is an important factor for heterogeneous photocatalysts due to the surface atom arrangement and coordination which intrinsically determine the reactant adsorption on the surface of molecules, surface distribution between photoexcited electrons and reactant molecules, as well as the desorption of product molecules [15].

Yin et al. [1] were the first to demonstrate that the Kirkendall effect (with Kirkendall porosity) [2], an effect well-known in interdiffusion processes in alloys, can be utilized at the nano-level to result in the formation of uniform hollow nanospheres of CdS, CdSe, CoO, CoSe, Co3S4,Co9S8.
Assuming steady state for the vacancy concentration and a linear approximation of the Gibbs-Thomson equation, Gusak et al. [20] found a numerical solution for the collapse time of a hollow nanosphere by diffusion.
Using the same model, Evteev et al. [21] later derived exact solutions for the collapse time for both one component hollow nanospheres and nanotubes.
A range for the collapse time of a hollow binary alloy nanosphere can then be estimated by making use of the Moleko et al. [24] diffusion kinetics theory:     1)SS(eq V c 3 f c 1 V eq V 12    Dc kTr t Dc  
