The unusual mechanical behavior suggests changing of deformation mechanisms in UFG materials.
Intragrain dislocation slip and twinning are known to be the dominant mechanisms of plastic deformation of coarse-grained metallic materials at moderate temperatures.

An inoculant is a material added to the liquid iron just prior to casting that will provide a suitable phase for germination and growth of graphite during the subsequent cooling.
Base iron participation in the graphite development process involves mainly manganese and sulphur and residual elements, such as oxygen, aluminum, zirconium, all of which depends on the melting procedure, furnace type and charge materials.
It was found that the actual consumption of the treatment materials in the reaction chamber was (wt.%) at 0.084 Ca,Ba-FeSi, 0.015 O and S bearing inoculant enhancer alloy and a mixture including 0.033 Ca,Ba-FeSi and 0.012 O and S bearing inoculant enhancer alloy [0.045 total] in the three types of inoculation.
Many factors are involved in carbide formation such as melting procedure (charge materials, thermal regime), iron chemistry (base chemical composition, minor / trace elements, alloying elements), liquid state treatments (gas stirring, vibration, inoculation), casting characteristics, pouring parameters, mold and core media [7-9].

A Study on the CarbonNitriding Process of BF Slag Containing Titanium Li Liang1, a, Wang Jun2,b and Fan Xingping3,c 1,2,3 Department of Materials Engineering, Panzhihua University, Panzhihua 617000, China; a panzh2007@163.com, b pzhxywj@qq.com, c fanxingping123@163.com Keywords: BF slag containing titanium; Carbon nitriding; Carbonitride titanium.88 Abstract.
One method is that the slag is used for building materials where the titanium is not recycled.
Experiment Raw Material and Specimen Preparation The chemical composition of the slag (-0.088mm) is given in Table 1.
All raw materials were fully mixed with colophony as binder.

The materials which are used in fuel cells should have high proton conduction in order to get high voltage.
Hence more researchers are focussed on developing proton conducting materials.
In aliphatic PEM addition of cross-linking structure and inorganic materials would rise the thermal stability [15,16].
Accordingly, the PEM with positive and negatively charged groups are carried by the inorganic materials.

The material originated from the same batch as that used in the previously published test series [9].
The material is modeled with kinematic hardening using a bilinear model.
