Abstract: This paper focus on the motion simulation and visualization of the material particles in the operation of the spin vibration screening using DEM(Discrete Element Method). Based on analysis of the simulation results, some conclusions are made which provide the theory basis in order to design the screen parameters reasonably. Finally some experiments are carried out in order to verify the correctness of the simulation.

Abstract: Unlike well-investigated polymer-based soft actuators such as gel, Ionic Polymer-Metal Composite, conducting polymer, a CFRP-based polymeric laminate possesses quite distinguished properties. It was previously reported that a CFRP-PVC laminate exhibited two-way deflection in accordance with environmental temperature, but it was asymmetric deflection due to the asymmetric laminate structure. In this study, we successfully fabricated a new CFRP-based polymeric laminate which can exhibit symmetric deflection. Despite such a successful outcome, there was large room to improve the degree of its deflection. Improvement of temperature control method for the newly fabricated CFRP-based polymeric laminate resulted in enhancement of the degree of its deflection.

Abstract: Takes the comprehensive fault simulation testbed of Spectra Quest as an object, the finite element model of rotor-rolling bearing-base system is constructed by finite element analysis software ANSYS. Modes of rotor-rolling bearing system and rotor-rolling bearing-base system are analysed, the influence of base is researched by comparing their natural frequency and vibration mode. The influence of bearing rigidity to system mode is studied by comparing the natural frequency of rotor-rolling bearing-base system with different bearing rigidity.

Abstract: The nonlinear dynamics equation of passive vibration isolator is established in this paper. According to the nonlinear vibration theory, the average equation of slow-varying primary harmonic in the condition of weak nonlinearity is abstained , and derived a discrete mapping of the harmonic slow variable parameter state equation, then get the analytical conditions of chaos in the passive vibration isolator, the analytical results show that only when the vibration frequency of the groundsill is higher than the inherent frequency of the passive vibration isolator, the chaos can be observed, when the groundsill vibrate with the large amplitude and high frequency vibration, the chaos can’t be observed in the passive vibration isolator system. Finally the analytical prediction is validated by analog simulation experiment, and gets the conclusion that the prediction matches well with the simulation results.

Abstract: As an important part of chromatography instruments, chromatographic column plays an important role in the progress of science and the development of production. In order to avoid the traditional process ,design - processing- test - Fixed design - re-processing and effectively shorting the design cycle save a lot of manpower, material and financial resources. This paper offers to watch the changes of flow profile within the column by the application of simulation software ANSYS CFX .Besides, according to the distribution of flow profile, the traditional column has been done a lot of dynamic simulation, especially the stigma part of the column. From a fluid Machinery perspective, we simulated and designed the structure, and then found out the best separation efficiency of the column structure.

Abstract: The crusher station of the Qi Dashan mine is the semi-mobile crushing station. The crusher station has three parts. They are a heavy plate type material feeder having a receptacle trough, a crusher having a tower for controlling and a blowdown equipment. The hazard rate of the heavy plate type material feeder having a receptacle trough is hign and it operating cost is costly. So the heavy plate type material feeder having a receptacle trough will be thrown off. A new feeding system will take the place of it. And new steel structure beams will be designed. The weight of the new feeding system will be born by the steel structure beams. The ore or rock will be pured into the crusher directly.

Abstract: In this paper, static force analysis of saw blade before and after saw blade becoming thinner is done with FEM software connecting with the production practice of hot sawing machine. The intensity reliability theoretically after saw blade becoming thinner is proved. Polynomial regression for the equivalent stress on circular saw blades along radial direction were finished by the software MATLAB and different stress regression curve are got. Thereby, stress distribution law of whole saw blade was found. The result provides for theoretical basis for the further improvement of hot saw blade.

Abstract: Hot-air valve can be easily ineffective during the operation due to the bad influence of the eddy heat on the bottom outer-edge of the valve plate. COSMOSFloworks software was used to analyze the flow field of DN1800 hot-air valve duct in a certain domestic company, by adopting the classical formula of heat transfer theory’s convective recuperative system as reference. The analysis results showed that during the beginning opening of hot-air valve duct, the bottom outer-edge of valve plate receive the influence that the hot-air enforce convection heat exchanger, while during the late opening of hot-air valve duct , the bottom outer-edge of valve plate receive the influence of eddy heat exchange. Based on this analysis , the paper suggests the measures which bring down the temperature of outer-edge of valve plate .

Abstract: The moments transmitted by a universal joint in varying operating condition was investigated. A model of shaft system driven by a universal joint which consists of a driving shaft, a driven shaft and a cross piece is chose. Both structure misalignment and error misalignment between the two shafts at the universal joint was considered, and the study was based on the assumption that friction, inertia and elastic forces of the cross piece were disregarded. Two pairs of Euler angles were introduced to denote structure misalignment and error misalignment respectively, sets of reference frames were built up on the driving shaft, driven shaft and cross piece. Using direction cosine matrixes to describe the relation between different frames, then the expressions of components of the transmitted moment acting on the driven shaft were obtained via method of vector projection. Based on engineering fact, the transmitted moment model was simplified with respect to different misalignment conditions, such as only structure misalignment or only error misalignment is considered. Then for different misalignment situations, the lateral and torsional components of the transmitted moment acting on the driven shaft were simulated through numerical examples. It turns out that both the lateral moment and torque components will fluctuate based on the import torque, and that due to accelerating of the driving shaft, the fluctuation of transmitted moment will be more distinct, consequently, more complicated nonlinear dynamics behavior will arise.

Abstract: According to components reliability sensitivity theory methods, looking upon the dynamic characteristics of hydrodynamic lubrication sliding bearing as the target for study, doing some reliability sensitivity analysis for the bearing-rotor system instability issues, numerical simulation results are given though analyzing. The outcome of the dynamic performance index is proposed based on the sliding bearing selection method for engineering practice to the selection of the radial journal bearing and provides a theoretical basis for overall design of shafting.
