Abstract: In this paper, surface morphology and phase constitution of ceramic membrane fabricated via Micro-arc oxidation on Al -Ti alloys was studied .The via Micro-arc oxidation was reacted in phosphate and silicate mixed electrolyte. And by contrasting of phase constitution of the ceramic membrane, the relationships of thickness of the ceramic membrane and time, and the relationships of arcing voltage and time to inquire the features of Micro-arc oxidation on Al -Ti alloys.

Abstract: Metal Magnetic Memory (MMM) testing method has its own effective and unique advantages on the research of extension of metal crack. The array magnetic memory testing sensor designed and assembled in accordance with specific conditions, could evidently enhance testing-efficiency, such as for components with complex shape or large surface area, and may simplify the test equipment correspondingly. A kind of array magnetic memory sensor with Hall elements as core components was designed and an experiment on metal magnetic memory testing on extension of metal crack was executed. The experiment results indicate that the magnetic memory testing technique could effectively monitor and qualitatively evaluate the progress of metal crack extension.

Abstract: In this paper, a parallel manipulator is comprised of sliders and links. The end-effector has an orientation. Sliders execute a linear motion along parallel guidelines and make the connected links rotate. We derived displacement, velocity and acceleration from kinematic analysis of this manipulator using direct and inverse kinematics, found constraint conditions and proposed the verification algorithm of constraint conditions. With the result from the simulation, we found that there was a local workspace where the manipulator cannot carry out a series of link motion.

Abstract: Permeability of coal is recognized as the most important parameter for fluid transport through the seams. A new finite element model is applied to quantify the gas flow, the deformation of matrix and the net change of permeability. After plenty of study of the permeability, the revolution of the permeability based on the pore pressure and the sorption-induced strain is built. The sorption which affects the volumetric strain is taken into consideration and the pore pressure is also been studied as a key factor for permeability and other relative parameters.

Abstract: TiO2 thin films were deposited on SAM-coated silicon substrate by layer-by-layer self-assembly method. The influence of various parameters was investigated to optimize the conditions and the results show that with increasing deposition temperature and deposition time, and decreasing molar ratio of HCl to TiO22+, the content of TiO22+ in the reaction solution decreases. The as-deposited thin films were fully amorphous from the result of XRD, also were homogeneous and continuous produced at 80 °C for120 min as presented in SEM images, and the average size of particles on the thin film surface is approximately 33 nm.

Abstract: This paper presents the endeavor to use Heavy Fuel Oil on a medium-speed diesel engine. The researched engine is a locomotive diesel engine, which used to be only fuelled with light diesel fuel. Since the fuel injection system of the original engine is unfit for HFO, the authors reformed the fuel injection system to meet the requirements of using HFO. In order to decrease the viscosity of the fuel, light diesel fuel was blended with HFO and heating apparatus was applied. A serial of experiments were carried out to check the performance of the reformed engine. Meanwhile, 1-D engine working cycle simulation tool was employed to study the fuel economy and combustion performance of the engine. The results indicate that compared with using light diesel fuel, when using HFO, the engine’s power performance was maintained, and the brake specific fuel consumption was increased. But considering lower price of heavy fuel oil, the fuel economy was greatly improved.

Abstract: This paper presents one approach in designing and testing an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) for indoor mapping. The approach makes use of computer real-time simulation and animation direct with the testing in real environment. Novel control architecture was proposed, by exploit the communication between two laptop installed Matlab/Simulink and telemetry data collected from it. The parameter values between real performance and model can be easily evaluated and also from its ladar scanning result, then researcher can explore more variation of modeling aspect, parameter and sensor-actuator configuration to enhance performance of their indoor unmanned vehicle

Abstract: This paper studies the characteristics of both the dynamic heat and mass transfer of liquid nitrogen thin film which have vital significance to improve heat transfer efficiency and optimize the cryogenic heat exchanger. Liquid nitrogen laminar film flows in the brazed cryogenic heat exchanger with 2.3mm distance between plates. Relationship between the dimensionless thickness and the coefficient of heat convection of liquid nitrogen film is derived. And the impact of rate of vapor content, intensity of interfacial convection heat transfer and Reynolds numbers are calculated and analyzed.

Abstract: This paper put forward the concept of economic house of quality (EHOQ), constructing EHOQ model based on quality economic analysis. The proposed method expands the 10-steps model of traditional house to a new 13-steps model via introducing three new steps which are growth rate of customer cognitive price, annual increment of quality comprehensive cost and enterprise expected revenue to carrying out the economic analysis on HOQ. The new method breaks the limitations of traditional quality function deployment (QFD) construction without revenue analysis.
