Abstract: Designers have been thinking to strengthen the immaterial design as a result of the formation and development of Information society, The boundary of design has been extended by the idea of the immaterial design, which enhanced the concept and scope of after-sales services and also emphasized ‘practical utility’ through which ‘economical utility’ goal achieved.

Abstract: As the starting point of the movie, the invisible art of film and television with visible clothing art to be expressed, this is the perfect combination of art. The inseparable relationship between clothing and movies, as an art form, clothing is a national and regional cultural and aesthetic appeal of the carrier. Dress as important elements of costume elements, which lead the development of garment industry. The purpose of this paper is to dress in reproduction from the montage and the screen even as the story two dress designs innovation of new ideas on dress innovative design.

Abstract: This paper introduced the method of multidisciplinary design optimization based on genetic algorithm. The basic structure and new auxiliary braking mechanism of permanent magnet retarder was analyzed. The influences of magnetic field parameters, structural design parameters, rotor parameters and permanent magnet temperature parameters on the behaviors performance of the permanent magnet retarder were discussed. The conceptual model of permanent magnet retarder was developed to maximize the brake torque of the permanent magnet retarder. The design variables included the radial width and the axis length of permanent magnet, the number of permanent magnet, the radius of rotor, the thickness of rotor, and the air gas. The constraint conditions included permitting temperature of rotor, saturation magnetic flux density of magnet material, and relation of structural geometry. The results of design optimization variables were obtained by applying genetic algorithm. The multidisciplinary design optimization in this paper is an effective method for the global design optimization of the permanent magnet retarder.

Abstract: The new technology is based on the original four-color gill box, and adding the application of the controller. On the one hand, achieve the sliver color’s order can be matched at will, and every single sliver can be changed about the color and length, and the length of changeover portion can be designed easily, so that the final product color can be achieved in a color from deep to shallow gradients, and also can be two colors that is one of them becomes shallow gradually while another color deepened gradually; on the other hand, achieve the ratio of the colored sliver is adjustable without basal sliver feeding. In the other words, on the premise of output sliver thickness to maintain constant, the cross-section’s color of the sliver is ensured to be any independent color of the four feeding sliver colors, you can also have two or more color combinations. Using this new technology to produce the gradient product has been very popular in foreign countries, but is still rare in the domestic market. So this new technology will have positive effect on textile field, it can provide more new opportunities to the textile enterprises.

Abstract: Refer to Reverse Engineering of extracting points cloud to generate a digital model, the paper proposes a rational method to design agricultural machinery's appearance. Depending on the product's internal structure contours, we can extract several key points and connect them by four ways: straight lines connecting, arcs connecting, free curves connecting and data fitting. Then we choose and modify the connected lines by a unified style to get the main profile of the machinery, which can better match the structural components. In the end a small self-propelled square baler's design process was presented to describe and testify the method.

Abstract: Ergonomically sound packaging machinery offers several efficiency-enhancing benefits, including reduced operating costs by avoiding work-related injury. This article discusses the common ergonomic injuries in packaging line, the risk factors for ergonomic hazards, and the ergonomic principles applied to the design of packaging machinery.

Abstract: This study aims to develop a system for golf clubhead to maximize the flying distance of a golf ball after impact. The procedure consists of a step of pre-design with a CAD software, a process of optimization performed by the combination of a general purpose FEM code and an optimization program developed by the authors, and a step of redesign. For the optimization process, the relation between eigen frequencies and the coefficient of restitution (COR) is verified numerically at first. Based on the results of numerical examination, an approach is proposed for the optimal design in impact problem with basis vector method. And the basis vectors are created by using the sensitivity functions of eigen frequencies obtained by modal analysis. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the validity of the developed system.

Abstract: How seats can provide the best sitting posture is still a challenging subject in ergonomics. The researches on seats and sitting postures often need to measure physiological data or to record human’s subjective experience under a certain sitting posture. So to build a kind of multi-posture sitting bench has an important significance. The paper proposes a simple, reliable and less costly universal seat bench, whose size and shapes can be quantitatively, continuously and parameterized adjusted and which also can be adjusted to a variety of seat back curves by simulating spinal modeling. Based on Pro/ E software, two kinds of parameterized virtual simulation models are built, which can simulate deformation effects of the ergonomic seat bench easily and verify the correctness of data used to change the shape of bench.

Abstract: The mathematical model was established, the pragram was made to optimize the lengths and angles of each link by means of inner point penalty function method. Involving 12 scheduled points, the track of a certain point on the coupler of a planar four-bar linkage was realized and previewed using Matlab. The optimum program presented here could enhance the design efficiency and insure the design accuracy markedly. By this method the coupler-curve involving more than or less than 12 points could be realized, and more complex multi-linkage could be designed.

Abstract: Ergonomics is an important validation content in vehicle product development. The traditional evaluation method of ergonomics adopts physical mockups or prototypes, which is very costly, and is inconvenient to modify, and usually cause prolonged development cycle-time. In this paper, in conjunction with enterprise’s requirements, an ergonomic validation equipment system, which has adjustable main parts, was developed. Firstly, requirements were analyzed, and target model cars ranges were determined, and ergonomic contents which can be validated using this equipment were clarified. The packaging characteristic of the passenger car was analyzed, and the reference fiducial marks system used for packaging design were determined. Based on the requirement of occupant accommodation, anthropometries of target population were statistically analyzed. By using revised SAE J1517 H-Point curves models, the drivers’ seating space was designed, as well as the requirement of the driver seat track travel. Based on the analysis of packaging data of passenger cars, and considering the possible changes, controls such as steering wheel, pedals, sticks, etc., were packaged.
