Study on EPDM/Boron Mud Composites

Abstract:

In this paper, the EPDM/boron mud composites are prepared by changing the amount of boron mud, paraffin oil and coumarone. In order to investigate the effect of the fillers on the properties of composites,the aging-resistance, mechanical properties and SEM of composites are tested and analyzed. The results show that when paraffin oil is 10 phr, coumarone is 3 phr and the boron mud is 20 phr, the composite has optimal properties.Keywords: Boron mud, Coumarone, Paraffin oil, EPDM, Composites
