Abstract: The universities’ fixed assets has the characteristics of large amount and wide range of use, which lead to difficulty and intricacy of the assets management, so the original manual, stand-alone model cannot satisfy the needs of modern assets management any more. The automatic identification and related technologies can aid in the configuration of an RFID-based fixed assets management platform in universities, by providing the broadest range of solutions to track the assets in an intelligent and dynamic way, eliminating the traditional information lag, distortion, and discrepancies, etc., thus improving management efficiency and level.

Abstract: The primary consequence of the transition to multicore processors is that applications will increasingly need to be parallelized to improve application's throughput, responsiveness and latency. Multithreading is becoming increasingly important for modern programming. Unfortunately, parallel programming is no doubt much more tedious and error-prone than serial programming. Although modern compilers can manage threads well, but in practice, synchronization errors (such as: data race errors, deadlocks) required careful management and good optimization method. This paper presents a preliminary study of the usability of the Intel threading tools for multicore programming. This work compare performance of a single threaded application with multithreaded applications, use tools called Intel® VTune Performance Analyzer, Intel® Thread Checker and OpenMP to efficiently optimize multithreaded applications.

Abstract: eXtreme Programming (XP) is one of new discipline of software development methodology on values of simplicity, communication, feedback and also courage. XP is an explorative and agile development method that seeks to satisfy the customer through early and continuous delivery of valuable software. XP software development process starts with planning, and all iterations consist of four basic phases in its life cycle: designing, coding, testing, and listening. This paper tends to report the experience in adapting XP in developing electronic document online system for the use of Centre for Diploma Studies, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (eDoc). The project under study is a system that is use to store office documents such as letter in an online database. The objective of this paper is to discuss the XP practices that had been choosed and also the lesson learnt by practising XP in developing eDoc.

Abstract: The framework of Struts2, Spring2.5 and Hibernate3(SSH2) was discussed and used to design and implement a network forum system. The system used the MySQL as the back-end database and adopted the reflection mechanism provided by the Spring framework to load the data access layer and introduced the AOP thinking to manage users rights. It also used the AJAX and the JQuery technology to provide users with a more accessible experience. The forum according to different rights of the users provides the functions of user management, resource management, post management, information search, forum management, message management, etc. It achieves a practical network platform for the university students to learn and communication.

Abstract: Sampled-data interpolation algorithm is the core technology in CNC system. The principle of an arc interpolation is described, and the flowchart of an arc sampled-data interpolation algorithm is presented. The coordinate of arc-center is a key question that the formulas are inferred and to be ascertained in development of software. Finally, some of major and minor arc, the clockwise and counterclockwise arc of quadrants, development of these sampled-data interpolation algorithm software is displayed in CNC virtual simulation system based on the visual C++.

Abstract: With people pay more and more attention to component software testing, the generation of test case is as one of the important works of software testing, it becomes a hotspot inevitably. For component software testing, making combination of the testing method based on model and testing method based on Genetic Algorithm, this paper proposes a generating method of test case which based on UML (Unified Modeling Language) activity diagram and Genetic Algorithm, and gives the overall design and implementation steps of the method. Then this paper applies the proposed method to model the adding table business in catering management system, and design test case. The example verifies the feasibility and validity of the method.

Abstract: This paper studies the virtual product model and user interaction techniques for virtual scene of 3DSMAX, VRML and WEB technology to build a phone virtual display system, so that the user can navigate the phone structure from different perspectives, conduct phone local remote zoom, move and rotation and to learn more about the structure of their components, the various parts of the physical shape and assembly characteristics by assembling animation. The phone virtual display system treats VRML as the core, uses JavaScript largely and shows virtual product designing method.

Abstract: Accurately predicting software bugs is one of software engineering’s great tasks. Current bug prediction algorithm take one aspect of software for granted, while neglecting the other aspect. This paper extracted static and dynamic features from software, which were used to predict bugs using relevance vector machine algorithm. Experimental results show that the new method outperforms others to a great extent.

Abstract: As an important indicator of Web application performance testing - load capacity is a key factor to judge the merits of the Web application performance, load testing model is an important premise to accurately obtain the Web applications load capacity; This article is based on the model of user groups, Through further analysis of the general user behavior , user groups model is been improved properly. The practical application shows that the improved model more realistically simulate real user behavior, and make the data more statistical significance, which can more accurately predict the performance of web applications.
