Abstract: Nowadays, the necessity of university as leader of reducing GHG emission has become an issue of global concern. In this research, we aim to analyze energy system of a model university campus in southern China and grasp the energy consumption of the whole campus from the viewpoint of reducing GHG emission. We investigated and analyzed the present situation of energy system by using measured data and inquiry survey. In order to grasp the data exactly, we introduced building energy management system (BEMS) to some typical buildings with electricity consumption controlling. Firstly, the outlining of the campus and abstract of the buildings were carried out. Secondly, measurement buildings of BEMS in the campus were described according to the results of investigation. Furthermore, methodology of measurement and calculation was researched. The campus's daily electricity consumption and cooling consumption, hourly energy consumption intensity of different typical building, and consumption intensity of different days (weekdays, weekends, and holidays) could be examined using this methodology.

Abstract: In recent years, a series of building energy efficiency regulations and policies in China were promulgated. Therefore, the talent relating to building energy saving has become the urgent needs in the community, but the talent training model of architectural higher education can not make system supplements and adjustments. The necessity for architectural specialty curriculum system update was analysed comprehensively. Under energy saving emission reduction policie-oriented, curriculum system update and cultivating the continuity on energy saving ideas in design courses were put forward. And then ordered butt joint on architectural talent cultivation and national energy-saving emission reduction policies can be achieved.

Abstract: This paper focused on how to apply Value Engineering to optimize the low carbon scheme of construction, studied how to construct evaluation index system of low carbon solutions, and proposed the method of determining the function importance coefficient according to consumer demand and determining the real cost of low carbon construction. Through analyzing the matching degree between function and cost according to function evaluation value and real cost of function, the method of determining the low carbon optimization scheme was proposed.

Abstract: In recent years, a large number of new residential buildings of villages have a large number of problems which is the traditional residential energy consumption, and local environmental pollution. We Urgently need to explore the appropriate strategies about the level of economic development of the local eco-building technologies in Qinba mountain villages. It is want to improve villagers' living standard of living, to make residential buildings comfortable, healthy, energy-saving, and try to find a environmental protection of the local ecological road.

Abstract: Recently river corridors in Guangzhou are being focused on as important natural networks in urban environment as well as cultural and recreational resources. The study area of this research is the Licheng section of the Zengjiang River Greenway. We attempt to do a comprehensive evaluation of its built environment by visitor experience. The main research contents were divided into 6 aspects: facilities, green space, signs and maps, transport, security and management, and recreational activities in external environment. Through the analysis, we identified six human dimensions of visitor experience in the studies: cleanliness, aesthetic, comfort, safety, suitability and hydrophilic property. As a result of this research, some problems on the evaluation were grasped by the hierarchy process analysis based on the above six categories. We concluded by discussing solutions of these problems, and suggested some proposals in design to meet the visitors’ requirement for the future construction of greenway. The Zengjiang River Greenway has served as a model for riparian greenways elsewhere in the Pearl River Delta.

Abstract: In planning of residential district, the requirement of enough sunshine space often conflicts with the needs of increasing building density and saving land. From planning and building unit,by apt adjustment in building orientation, rational organization in building layout and optimization adjustment in architectural bodies, some effective and reasonable design strategies are proposed to optimize sunshine environment. Thus, sunshine environment in residential district can be improved, building density can be increased and land can be saved.

Abstract: In order to assess polluting condition of heavy metals in sediment of the Xiangjiang River Changsha section, the spatial distribution of four heavy metals were determined in river sediments at six sampling stations. Geo-accumulation Index of heavy metals in superficial sediment of the Xiangjiang River Changsha section was in the decreasing order of Cd>Zn>Pb>Cu. On the whole, the pollution level was moderate-high, and the order of four heavy metals pollution lever was noted in the sequence of Liuyang River entrance of Xiangjiang> Juzizhou Bridge >Houzishi Bridge> the Second Xiangjiang River Bridge > Xiangjiang Super Bridge > Xiangjiang Sanchaji Bridge. The Potential Ecological Risk Evaluation showed that heavy metals ecological risk in sediment of the Xiangjiang River Changsha section was very high, Cd was the primary contribution element, followed by Pb.

Abstract: In order to further investigate the effect of temperature on the performance of the pretreatment system of constructed wetlands, two pilot-scale units with dimensions of 2m in length and 1m in width were operated to treat decentralized sewage focusing on the removal efficiency of floated-bed bio-film (FBF) pretreatment system treating influent under different temperature continuously from April 2011 to March 2012 in parallel experiments in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. The results showed that the average removal efficiency of TP, TN, NH3-N and COD were (22.1%, 31.8%, 29.4% and 59.8%), (34.7%, 31.2%, 22.5% and 34.1%) and (53.1%, 56.8%, 53.6% and 41.8%) at different temperature of 10°C, 10°C to 20°C and exceeded 20°C respectively. The effluent concentrations of NH3-N reached Class II demand of GB 18918-2002 in different temperature. TN reached Class I-B demand when the water temperature was above 20°C. TP reached Class II and Class III demand when the water temperature was above 10°C and below 10°C, respectively. The TN, NH3-N and TP removal efficiencies showed to great influence on temperature, however COD on the contrary. Pretreatment system alleviated the hidden clogging troubles of the subsequent potential filter pools in wetland system to the maximum and ensured the continuous high-load treating ability of the wetland system. The pretreatment technology of the floated-bed bio-film system is a small, flexible and economical device which is worthy of promotion.
