Abstract: Taking Red Grape as material, studied on the effect of SO2 interval fumigation treatments on postharvest quality and SO2 residue of fruit stored under 0 °C. The results indicated that after 120 days of storage, all treatment could decrease the decay rate, inhibited the decrease of soluble solids content and titratable acid, and the SO2 interval fumigation showed a stronger ability compared with convention fumigation. The SO2 residue in grape pulp in TR2 group was14.5mg·kg-1 which beyond the FDA safety standard (10 mg·kg-1) and bleaching rate was 7.8% higher than TR1 and control group.

Abstract: The effects of 1-MCP treatment on postharvest physiology and quality of kiwifruits with four different maturities were studied. Different maturities of kiwifruits were treated with1-MCP (0.5μL L-1) at 20°C for 24 hours, then stored at 0±0.5°C. Results showed that the fruit whose firmness of 11.5 kg cm-2 kept a slower respiratory rate, higher firmness, and more stable total soluble solid and titratable acid content during the end of the storage compared with other different maturity.

Abstract: We assessed the effectiveness and mechanism of action of Soybean Isoflavones on learning and memory and Caspase-3 levels in the hippocampus of rats after Morris water maze (MWM test). Soybean Isoflavones (200,400 or 800 mg/kg/d) were administered by intragavage once daily for 14 consecutive days. The Morris water maze test was used to evaluate the ability of Soybean Isoflavones to increase learning and memory impairment. The levels of Caspase-3 in hippocampus of rats were detected by Westernblot after MWM test. Compared to untreated controls (P<0.01), MWM could be prolonged after Soybean Isoflavones treatment (P<0.05 for="" low="" and="" intermediate="" dose="" groups="" westernblot="" analysis="" showed="" that="" the="" protein="" expression="" of="" caspase-3="" was="" decreased="" in="" different="" concentration="" soybean="" isoflavones="" i="">P<0.05 and="" i="">P<0.01, respectively). The results suggest that Soybean Isoflavones is effective in improving the learning and memory in rats , the mechanism of which may be related Caspase ways.

Abstract: The basic structures of Crinum Asiaticum alkaloids are N-(3, 4-dioxo-benzyl)-4-O-phenylethylamine, pyrrole phenanthridine, 5,10b-ethanophenanthridine. The basic framework can form a new parent nucleus structure with significant pharmacological activity by oxidation, dehydrogenation, cyclization, O, N-methylation, acylation reaction. Crinum Asiaticum alkaloids antibacterial, antimalarial, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, inducing tumor cell apoptosis, the protection of the cardiovascular and other effects are reviewed.

Abstract: Abstract. Summarizing the classic analysis and some detective methods --mass spectrometer (MS),nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR),capillary electrophoresis (CE),atomic force microscope (AFM),X-ray diffraction (XRD) and CD spectra and biological method, the application of these methods in polysaccharide structure analysis. The recent progress for polysaccharides on the biological activities were also described, such as improvement of animal immunity ability, anticancer, antivirus, antioxygenic, anticoagulant, reducing blood-fat and radioresistance.

Abstract: Lycorine is a kind of natural alkaloid extracted from Amaryllidaceae that has shown various pharmacological effects. Recent studies have focused on the potential antitumor activity of lycorine. The inhibition effects of lycorine on the cell proliferation of leukemia HL-60 cells, K562 cells, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, U937 cells and structure-activity studies on the lycorine pharmacophore in leukemia cells were summarized in the article. The review of pharmacological effects and structure-activity on leukemia of lycorine can provide a reference for the further development and utilization on the kind of natural products.

Abstract: Taken Newhall navel oranges (Citrus sinensis Newhall) as materials, studied on the effectiveness of different packing films (0.025 mm PE, 0.015 mm KDM and 0.02 mm PVC) in navel orange modified atmosphere preservation. The result showed that at 4 °C storage temperature, compared to the 0.015 mm KDM and 0.02 mm PVC, 0.025 mm PE packing film had more effective for decreasing respiration rate, weight loss rate and decay rate during whole storage period of Newhall navel orange. After 150 days storage period, the gas composition within 0.025 mm PE was 17.70% O2 + 4.20% CO2, which provided a steady-state low O2 high CO2 gas environment for navel orange to achieve the best storage quality.

Abstract: Polypeptide milk is a kind of functional milk produced by modern enzymolysis technology. Compared with the single enzyme, papain and neutral protease composited with the proportion of 1:1 was found to be the optimum enzyme system for polypeptide milk production. The suitable enzymolysis condition was that the composited enzyme addition of 750U/g milk protein, 55°C and 25min, under this condition the hydrolysis degree of the milk was 44.08%.

Abstract: Based on single factor analysis for the enzymatic hydrolysis of whey protein, papain was selected as the optimal enzyme and its enzymatic hydrolysis conditions were optimized by the quadratic regression orthogonal rotary test. The orthogonal regression model for degree of hydrolysis (DH) to three factors including temperature (X1), time (X2), enzyme dosage (X3) was established as follow: DH=10.40+0.22X1+0.30X2+1.31X3+0.019X1X2+0.011X1X3-0.039X2X3-0.39X12-0.16X22-0.40X32, Verification test showed a DH of 11.7% was obtained at the optimal hydrolysis condition of 56.6°C, 113.8 min and enzyme 8213.7 U /g protein, which basically consisted with the model theoretical value.

Abstract: A 1188bp regulatory sequence upstream of Cyclin D promoter is amplified by PCR, using Drosophila genome as a template, and then cloned into PcaSpeR-AUG-βgal plasmid for injecting into the W1118 line. We obtain several independent transgenic lines with mini-white as a selection marker. After mapping and balancing, immunostaining, the transgenic embryos perform a pattern which is similar to the 11407 line. The results show that these transgenic lines can mimic the endogeneous Cyclin D expression pattern in Drosophila. Thus a lacZ reporter system is constructed for analyzing the Cyclin D function.
