Abstract: The method of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) is now one of the mature applications of NOx removal technology, which can meet the practical requirements due to the more stringent laws and regulations on air pollutions. However, the active temperature of traditional SCR catalyst is usually in the temperature range of 300-400°C, which limits the condition of SCR unit. Therefore, low temperature SCR method has caused concern for the scholars in recent years. Catalyst is the key to SCR unit because its performance has a direct influence on the catalytic efficiency. This paper summarizes the research progress of metal oxide catalyst of low temperature SCR. In addition, the future research work is discussed.

Abstract: Low temperature SCR method has caused concern for the scholars in recent years. This SCR unit can be installed downstream of the desulfurization and particulate control devices, which is conducive to match the existing boiler system. It can relief the poisoning and blocking of SO2 and dust, so as to extend the life of catalyst. This paper summarizes the research progress of molecular sieve catalyst of low temperature SCR.

Abstract: The method of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) to removal NOx is very mature. However, its initial investment and operation cost are still high, which limits the development of SCR technology. Low temperature SCR catalysts can significantly reduce the cost. Catalyst active component and its carrier is the key to the efficiency of denitration. This paper summarizes the research progress of noble metal catalyst of low temperature SCR.

Abstract: A variety of research approaches have emerged after the concept of Gibson's affordance was introduced in design field, for example, the relationship approach in design research and the approach of cognitive science research after Norman. The significance of affordance-based design for methodology forming ecological design theory is discussed in this article. The significances are to surmount defects resulting from function-oriented design theory and to pave the ecological approach to design theory with directness and embodiment combining perception with activities.

Abstract: The characteristics of air temperature, circulation and energy budget of Jinta Oasis are simulated by WRF model, which is the weather research and forecast model of NCAR. The results show that the WRF model has good quality in simulating the diurnal characteristics of surface layer temperature, wind fields, net radiation, sensible heat flux and latent flux. In addition, the model initial fields were also modified by observations of soil temperature and moisture in order to improve the simulations in this study due to important roles of the soil moisture and temperature playing in affecting the cold island effect, the wet island effect properties and surface energy budget balance over the oasis in arid area. Then, the microclimate characteristics and local thermal circulation generated by inhomogeneous underlying surface over Jinta Oasis are analyzed.

Abstract: In this study, we use canonical correlation analysis to interpret the relationship between water quality parameters (T, Alk, Cl, EC, TN, TP, UV-254, pH, HPC, DO) and primary productivity parameters (algae and chlorophyll-a). In these two sets of constructed canonical variables, the water quality parameters can account for 39.25% of the total variance of primary productivity. The majority of the explanatory power is from the first set of canonical variables, which has a correlation coefficient of 0.84. The main factors that control chlorophyll-a are HPC, Alk, T, TN, and pH.

Abstract: A integrated environmental benefit analysis model is established based on China's hydropower installed capacity and power generation data from 2007 to 2012, by using the methods of cost-benefit method, emission reduction calculations and multi-attribute evaluation (MCDM).

Abstract: The relationship between vegetation cover and climate change is one of the most important research fields in global change. Herein Jiangsu province and thereabout in China is chosen to be the research field. Under the support of observations from normalized differential vegetation index (NDVI) during years from 1998 to 2008 and corresponding benchmark weather stations, the relationship between vegetation and climate change had been analyzed combined with simulations from regional climate model RegCM3, in perspectives of point vegetation cover amount and area vegetation cover type respectively. Conclusions are: (1) Points observations showed that NDVI had positive correlation with annual total precipitation and negative correlation with annual average temperature. (2) Area simulations showed that two different vegetation types in south and north Jiangsu almost had same 8warming value, but the incremental annual precipitation amount is more significant in south Jiangsu.

Abstract: Mining abandoned lands had become a new problem encountered in the process of urbanization in China. This article described a research of typical case, which took Nanjing city as the study space, and abandoned lands of open-pit mines as the study type. With an site investigation and data analysis, this research focused on the following four aspects: hierarchical size, mining methods, location distribution, and reuse situation. Working over the characteristics of current situation, this article pointed out existing problems and set goals. Then two advices were given to the further reuse work of open-pit mines abandoned lands in Nanjing. The first one is implementation by sorting and in batches, and the second one is economic measures combined effectively.

Abstract: China is experiencing a rapid economic development and large-scale urban expansion. The mining waste land is becoming an obstacle in that development. This article summarizes the current strategies that China is using to solve this problem and takes the transformation of limestone mines in Dalian City as the example to introduce how did local governments, enterprises, schools and other aspects make many efforts for this. At the same time, the article also tries to give some new solutions from the angle of sustainable urban planning, through the ongoing relating international exchange program (United research method of interdisciplinary and culture).
