Abstract: In this paper, the stability of discrete singular bilinear systems is discussed by the method of Lyapunov function. Some asymptotic stability criterions are given according to the equivalent system and the equivalent transformation, and the regularity is considered.

Abstract: Based on linear-response-like approach and simulations, the relationship between the strength of inhibitory feedback and the oscillation is explored by spectral properties of networks with leaky integrate-and-fire neurons under varying feedback strength. It is found that the network oscillation is enhanced sharply with increasing the feedback strength when the feedback is weak, but is insensitive to the feedback strength when the feedback is not weak. These results suggest that inhibitory feedback plays a limited role in enhancing the network oscillation. A qualitative analysis of the limited role of the inhibitory feedback in enhancing network oscillation is also presented.

Abstract: An image fusion method based on fuzzy regional characteristics is proposed in this paper. After the multi-resolution decomposition of an image, k-mean clustering is firstly done for the low frequency components of the each layer to decompose the low frequency image into important region, sub important region and background region. Then, all areas of the image are fuzzificated and fusion strategies are determined according to their fuzzy membership degrees. Finally, fusion result is obtained by the reconstruction from the multiresolution image representation. Experimental results and fusion quality assessments show the effectiveness of the proposed fusion method.

Abstract: The FlexibleNeural Tree uses a tree structure coding and has excellent predictiveability and function approximation capabilities. Due to it, a quantum neural tree model ispresented based on the multi-level transfer function quantum neuralnetwork and Flexible Neural Tree. In the new model, based on the structure of FlexibleNeural Tree, the transfer function of hidden layer quantum neurons is insteadof multiple superposition oftraditional transfer function, makes the model has a kind of inherent ambiguity. This paper used the improved neural tree asprediction model, particle swarm optimization to optimize the parameters of neuraltree, used probabilistic incremental program evolution to optimizethe structure of neural tree. The experiment result for stock index predictionshows the now method can improve the predictive accuracy rate

Abstract: To calculate optimal power flow (OPF) with high voltage direct current (HVDC) system, AC-DC system variables are used to be optimized together. Since there are many HVDC variables, more formula derivation and coding of Jacobi matrix and Hessian Matrix are needed in the calculation. Considering DC system characteristic of OPF with HVDC system, a method of alternative iteration of AC-DC system is presented in this paper, which could take advantage of the existing AC system OPF program and extend to calculate OPF with HVDC system. Simulation and comparison results indicate that, the OPF calculating method of alternative iteration of AC-DC system presented in this paper has good convergence, strong adaptability and high accuracy

Abstract: In most occasions shunt APFs and capacitors used for power factor correction exist simultaneously in the distribution network for saving costs. Ideally, APFs are used for harmonics filtering and capacitors are used for power factor correction. However, traditional control methods of APF have potential risk of resonance, affecting the stability and the effect of harmonic compensation, if the detected current contains capacitive current. This paper proposes a new control method based on voltage detection of point of common Coupling(PCC). Theoretical analysis and simulation demonstrate the new control method has functions of resonance suppression and harmonic filtering

Abstract: DS18B20 temperature sensor is a-wire bus sensor, which can directly output digital signal and is less influenced by external interference. Its measurement accuracy is high. Freescale microcontroller is used to develop this system, which has reliable performance. It could ensure that its regular use in the actual production and living. The program is compiled in Freescale CodeWarrior integrated development environment. Experiment result states clearly that this system can monitor and display environment temperature in real-time. It has practical value.

Abstract: Targeted in the quantitative description of the relationship between the materials subjective features and objective parameters, this study builds a mathematical model by BP neural network. Then optimization of the thresholds and weights of BP material texture models is conducted to refine the accuracy and description ability of this network. Through the analysis of the result of GA-BP Model, the foundation established by the summary of relationship between the texture image and the objective material parameters can be used to forecast the emotional characters of the materials whose objective parameters are previously understood.
