Abstract: By analyzing the bridge structure in the course of the dead load and live load, taking into account different load safety factor for load combinations that will limit state as a result of the combination of two kinds of forces calculated tendon force estimates, estimate the various sections of the steel beam, in accordance with certain requirements of the steel beam is a good layout, construction and consider re-simulate prestress for the role of the second combination, the process of the construction and use of a cross-sectional strength checking, stress and deformation checking checking.

Abstract: Along with the high-speed rail era, more and more railway construction projects are held in China western area, but the geological conditions in these areas are often complex, so it brings difficulty to the construction of tunnel in building railways. This paper studies the factors influencing the stability of tunnels. It divides these factors into two categories: engineering geological factors and engineering technological factors. Furthermore, it analyzes other factors that affect the stability of tunnels, such as structural characteristics of surrounding rock, mechanics properties of rock mass and construction methods.

Abstract: With inappropriate design or construction, the functions and service life of buildings begin to decline from the day of official use until they are demolished and resulting in extremely high cumulative cost throughout the building life cycle (BLC). However, the development of building information modeling (BIM) provides a solution for short BLCs and massive cumulative cost caused by errors occurring during the building design and construction phases. BIM is an innovative technique applicable to building design and construction management that has been vigorously developed in the construction industry. The development of BIM technology is now a global trend that can not be ignored, similar to 2D CAD before. BIM can be further developed into several aspects and applied during the construction phase, most important of all, enhance the overall building functionality and save operating cost throughout the BLC.

Abstract: This paper introduces the topic of the application of green building technology, through the research on the situation and development of small towns. Under the background of rural-urban integration in China, this paper clarifies that the application of green building technology in townlet is of great strategic significance and valid feasibility; moreover, it puts forward some feasible suggestions for the application of green building technology, then, make the conclusion that the green building should be applied in construction of small towns.

Abstract: In order to reveal the mechanical properties of the subgrade fillers, they are studied by screening test of coarse-grained soils, compaction test and large-scale triaxial test in the track-subgrade model in high-speed rail laboratory of Central South University. The experimental results show that the coarse particle content for filler of the bottom layer is larger than that of the underlying embankment. The optimum water content of the filler of the bottom layer is less than that of the underlying embankment, while the maximum of dry density is similar, All samples have shown strain hardening characteristic, the higher the confining pressure is, the more obvious the strain hardening characteristic is. the volumetric strain of samples changes from shear contraction to shear dilation with the increment of axial strain. The cohesion and internal friction angle for filler of the bottom layer is greater than that of the underlying embankment. The tangent modulus for filler of the bottom layer is larger than that of the underlying embankment, and with the confining pressure increases, the difference also increases.

Abstract: The Taiwan Green Building Rating System is composed of the four categories of Ecology, Energy Saving, Waste Reduction and Health. There are also nine indicators, which are mainly guidelines but fail to consider humanity and the aesthetics of the buildings and urban environment. Based on a review of relevant literature and professional seminars, the questionnaire that was edited according to proposals relating to Green Building Aesthetics made by professionals in the field and then used to analyze the current relationship between green buildings, humanity and aesthetics in Taiwan. It is hoped, that this will enable us to fully explore the impact of humanity and aesthetics on Taiwan Green Buildings, while further demonstrating the importance of humanity and aesthetics. According to the questionnaire results, 76.8% of the respondents disagreed as well as kind of agreed and disagreed with the idea that the current Green Buildings in Taiwan has comprised of the concepts of Humanity and Aesthetics; 72.1% of the respondents considered Humanity and Aesthetics to the rating of Green Building very important and important; 81.2% of the public extremely agreed and agreed with the idea that Humanity and Aesthetics should be included in Green Building. The findings of this research indicated that most of the public considered that there were only few Humanity and Aesthetics considerations in the current Green Buildings in Taiwan and agreed that it was important to include Humanity and Aesthetics in Green Buildings.

Abstract: When global climate change becoming a problem that is getting worse nowadays, Green Buildings have become one of the major solutions to maintaining a sustainable environment. Because most of the public interpret the messages sent by their environment through visual appearance and images, This study aims to analyze the appearance effects of U.S. LEED and Taiwan EEWH Green Building rating systems by conducting surveys on the publics cognition of green building appearances and green building rating systems, and analyzing the relationship between green building appearance and environmental cognition. The results indicate that building appearance is a key judgment reference for identifying green buildings. However, there has been no significant relationships found between green building rating system and green building appearances so far, which may cause confusion as to the publics cognition and image of green buildings. Therefore, it is recommended that building's appearance image should be included in future revisions of the green building rating systems.

Abstract: Through the comparative analysis of the stores' facades in the center of Fukuoka City (Japan) and Nanjing City (China),to clarify the characteristics of the various types of facades. The physical research includes the structural component, the decoration component and the auxiliary component of facades. And it comes out there are 5 types (traditional type, POP type, window type, open type, enclosed type) of apparel & accessories store, daily product stores, and food & drink stores. Meanwhile, we find the facades in Fukuoka, cloth, plants, wood and other natural materials are used more. On the contrast, Nanjing has more colorful advertisement style facades, which shows Nanjings facades emphasize on advertising product and chasing the eye-catching effect.

Abstract: By extracting key information of Chinese Ancient Building Information Modeling, we build the index function to obtain the economic evaluation index. And then to establish the economic evaluation index system of ancient building protection scheme, by which it can be easy to choose more economical method of ancient building protection scheme, and achievement the optimal allocation of limited resources.

Abstract: Generating complex forms with the computer has become easier however a challenge still lies in the realization of these forms. Realize the digital fabrication face two challenges: first, how to evaluate the assembly ability of the design; second, how to realize digital fabrication combine with the Traditional technology. This paper introduces that the assembly ability evaluation ideas on design by the method of the combination of System Dynamics and association graph, and it needs to pay attention to the value added chain process fusion with the traditional mode of production in the process of evaluation.
