Abstract: Faced with the increasingly fierce market competition, manufacturing needs to shorten the product development cycle, and Additive Manufacturing will be widely applied as it can greatly shorten the product development cycle. After years of development, Additive Manufacturing will face a good market prospect as the manufacturing equipment, materials and process have become more and more mature. However, modeling technology is always the bottleneck problem of the product development process, as it occupies most time of the product development. The aim of the paper is to illustrate how to improve the efficiency of modeling for additive manufacturing. As the the application conditions of Additive Manufacturing continues to be mature , rapid modeling technologies will be discussed in the paper, including hierarchical modeling ,standardized modeling and parametric modeling technology, which will lay the foundation for rapid modeling of product development. The method of comparative test verification is adopted in the paper, and the results show that rapid modeling technologies discussed in the paper can fully improve the efficiency of modeling for Additive Manufacturing.

Abstract: A new model of the product design services based on cloud computing is studied by this paper. Using this new model, the cost of manufacturing enterprises developing new products can be diminished, meanwhile, the developing time can be reduced, which means the manufacturing enterprises can push out new product more rapidly than before. At first, the paper analyses the new model of the product design services. At second, by Multiple Attribute Decision Making method, the preferential model is built in design information resources gathering. At third, the software interface of how to select the best collection by the preferential model is developed. At last, it is demonstrated that the new model is highly effective.

Abstract: Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) has been considered as a promising approach for developing process planning systems and optimizing process plans. Process planning plays an important role in the computer integrated manufacturing environment. Process planning based on CSCW is inevitable for reducing manufacturing preparation time and costs through concurrent and collaborative engineering. In this research, two key technologies of data exchange method and data communication method are studied based on the analysis of structure and business flow for collaborative process planning. The collaborative process planning system has been developed and adopted to support collaboratively work.

Abstract: This paper studied the process that how the automotive body shapes raise the psychological reflects and proposed an intention bionic principle to explain this mental process. Established the related model and used it to analyze the relationships between automotive body shape design and the psychological feelings of living organisms. Then, analyzed the automotive body characteristics of Audi A8 and Q5, as a further illustration of this principle. Thus, opened up a new research method and provided a new approach for the work of automotive body shape design.

Abstract: In order to make the physical characteristics and dynamics of the mechanical parts fully reflected in the control system, and to make the elevating mechanism and traversing mechanisms reliability enhanced, virtual prototype of remote controlled weapon station were established in ADAMS, on the basis of establishing the model of virtual prototype, the prototype were improved with modifying the parameters, And using the interface module of the electronic control software MATLAB and dynamics simulation software ADAMS, the co-simulation of mechanical systems and control system is done, and the motion rules at all levels of transmission system are obtained.

Abstract: A set of customized CAD application system based on GMDH method for racing bike frame is developed by summarizing the characteristics of man-machine engineering principle and bike sports, taking self-organizing data mining method of using Group Method of Data Handling (GMDH) as well as AutoCAD as platform. The system with functions of customized design of bike, parametric design drawing and rapid automatic modeling improves the design level and efficiency of bike frame.

Abstract: With the ownership of Chinese automotive increasing, the road is more and more crowded and the energy crisis swept the global at the same time, which requires us to develop the larger buses now. According to the company standard and the related laws and regulations,a 12m bus body is designed. Build the 12m bus body’s 3D model by UniGraphics NX,generate mesh generation about the 3D model in the GAMBIT and calculate the aerodynamic drag coefficient using the FLUENT software, after all this, the 12m bus body whose the aerodynamic drag coefficient meets the needs of low speed characteristics is successfully designed.
