Abstract: In most video systems, the carrier of camera expierences all kinds of motions which make the video ambiguous and unstable.Usually, the gray projection matching algorithm can only stabilize the translation motion between frames, but the rotation motion of frames in a video sequence.By zoning the image into few small regions, the rotation motion could be ignored, then, local movement vector is aqcuired by the grey projection matching method and compensate the movement between frames. Then for the rotation movement,it can be stabilized by the compensation with circle projection matching.

Abstract: In this paper, the image segmentation algorithm based on wavelet transform is presented. The proposed image segmentation algorithm performs the segmentation in the combined intensity-texture-position feature space in order to produce connected regions that correspond to the real-life objects shown in the image. This segmentation algorithm is applied to reduced versions of the original images in order to speed-up the completion of the segmentation. As shown by experimental evaluation, this novel scheme provides fast segmentation with high perceptual segmentation quality.

Abstract: The image inpainting method based on CriminiciA’s algorithm is slowly complete the image for large blank area. An improved algorithm based on the classic texture synthesis algorithm for image inpainting is proposed for imaging logging inpainting, which is used to generate the fullbore image. Two schemes, the local search method and priority calculation with TV model, are employed in the improved texture synthesis method. Some examples were given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm on dealing with fullbore image construction with large blank area and raising efficiency obviously.

Abstract: This paper proposed a disparity estimation method based on the three-dimensional (3-D) mesh model. The disparity estimation is a key step in stereo video coding. By employing intermediate view synthesis, the proposed technique simulate the nodals in the 3-D sureface of stereo image efficiently. Simulated results show that the proposed technique yields a visually more accurate prediciton than the block-matching algorithm.

Abstract: According to the autocorrelation function (ACF) of the ultrafine particles, the auto-regressive (AR) model used for dynamic light scattering (DLS) signals simulation can be established. By the method, DLS signals for nanoparticles distribution are simulated respectively and every ACF of simulation signal performs a great agreement with its theory value. The simulation signals were respectively inversed and inversion errors are less than 5.25%. The particles size inversions of Photon Correlation Spectroscopy (PCS) are obtained by Morozov discrepancy principle. Experiments show that the method based on AR model is feasible in DLS signal simulation.

Abstract: The wavelet packet basis is difficult to be extracted by wavelet analysis at present. To solve this problem, an experiment of Acoustic Emission under uniaxial compression is conducted by SAEU2S acoustic Emission system and Electro-hydraulic servo universal testing machine and the method of empirical mode analysis is adopted to explore the acoustic emission signal in this paper. Firstly with the method of empirical mode decomposition, the acoustic emission signal is decomposed into the forms of intrinsic mode function with several local time scale and residual components, and then these data is analyzed. After the noise-reducing IMF and residual components are refactored, the error between the final and the initial reconstruction signals is less than 10-6. The experiment indicates that the EMD method is effective in processing the local rock acoustic emission signals. The EMD method also provides an efficient way to predict deformation trend of rock damage through deformation of waveform analysis.

Abstract: The autocorrelation function of Composite BOC(CBOC) signals has many side-peaks, which leads to the ambiguous problem. To solve this problem, an improved two-stage unambiguous tracking scheme is proposed in this paper. In the first stage, an unambiguous correlation function with narrow main peak is constructed by combining four out of twelve sub-correlation functions. In the second stage, by adding the rest of sub-correlation functions, the final correlation function with sharper and higher main-peak is developed based on the preparatory function from the first step. Numerical results demonstrate that compared to the original methods, the proposed scheme has a better tracking performance and can effectively suppress the short delay multipath.

Abstract: Pronunciation conversion is the premise to realize the speech synthesis system, besides, the conversion accuracy is directly related to the quality of synthetic speech. By studying the characteristics of Tibetan words and Lhasa pronunciation, currently method of the pronunciation conversion for Tibetan dialect in Lhasa, combination the need of speech synthesis research, designed and realized the pronunciation conversion system that can be applied in the Lhasa dialect of Tibetan speech synthesis. In tests the system is up to 95.3 percent accurate, the results of conversion are basically able to meet the needs of the Tibetan speech synthesis system.

Abstract: In this paper, we propose a novel algorithm for fast face detection in camera video. By extending the task of face detection from solely relying on visual data of camera sensor to cooperatively analyzing synchronized information of multiple sensors, we greatly reduce the time cost of face detection. Specifically, when subjects wearing motion sensors move around in the field of view (FOV) of a camera, motion status estimated from the wearable sensors helps to decide when is the good time to start face detection, and thus save large amount of work previously spent on filtering out faceless frames. To test the technical feasibility and efficiency of the proposed method, we conducted extensive experiments and compared it with state-of-the-art algorithms. Results indicate that the proposed algorithm achieves significant improvements in terms of time cost.
