Abstract: The traditional village which located in the Yellow River Basin is the origin of Chinese traditional culture and traditional roots. It contains rich ecological culture concept and build wisdom. Not only the traditional village has the function of the historical and cultural heritage, but also has important value on promoting the construction of ecological civilization. The paper applies field investigation method of the traditional village in the Yellow River Basin, analyzes the traditional village ecological construction concept and aims at providing theoretical references and examples for the new rural construction and the coordinated development of ecological environment.

Abstract: To convert the ecological value into a physical presence of contemporary architecture, it’s required to find out the modern elements and materials in the traditional architectural form as well as their modern use and development in technology; besides, the traditional architectural form and function shall reach a perfect harmony with the modern lifestyle, thus the “conversion of diversity” in form will be completed based on the generalization of traditional forms and by using the method of variant deconstruction and reconstruction.

Abstract:

Under the background of the world's environment problem increasingly prominent, to develop the low carbon energy saving construction technology is particularly important. In this paper, the current low carbon energy saving building design principles and strategies are discussed in this paper, and as an example of the project of Experience Centre of low-carbon ecological park in Sino-Singapore Tianjin ECO-City, the evaluation of the current advantages and disadvantages of low carbon energy saving building design in our country.

Abstract: According to the subtropical natural conditions that Lingnan vernacular architecture remain in, local people construct buildings which are suited to the local climatic conditions. In this paper, the impact Lingnan vernacular architecture on new buildings subtropical is revealed through the analysis of the vernacular ventilation and insulation techniques combined with certain cases.

Abstract: Green building is a kind of constructional and operational concept, and it is a kind of profound, balanced and harmonious building. It has become the direction for building industry in the future, and an important way for the world to solve environmental problems. This thesis sets forth the development and application of green building by analyzing the design techniques and disciplines of green building, the intelligent design and simulation analysis of green building and relative green building examples in foreign countries.

Abstract: In early 2013, the State Council promulgated the "green building action plan" .This means that the green building will be implemented from the national level in the future and it is of great significance to reduce energy consumption and to promote the development of energy-saving, green and low carbon architecture. In this paper, the suitable method and strategy of green residential building design in the Eastern Henan which based on the analysis of the planning and layout, architectural design, energy utilization and construction methods of existing residential buildings in the area are expounded through the analysis of the entire process of the construction of residential building.

Abstract: A residential community in the urban area is important to a city’s construction and development. The existing evaluation standard for green buildings in China is an approach of post-assessment and partial-evaluation for a community. It is essential to formulate an assessment for rating the low carbon community coving its whole life process. This paper articulates the standard for rating a low carbon community through the whole process of its project feasibility, planning, construction, and operation. The aim of it is to promote the low carbon development by applying this standard to such projects of community construction.

Abstract: Modular wall greening is systematic, quickly to make scenery, easy to assembly and other advantages. This paper discusses three typical modular green wall systems and their structures, matrix selection, maintenance and applicability. Wishing to providing green wall design strategies and construction design reference for architects and landscape designers.

Abstract: Practical experiences in traditional residence on behalf of local residents continue to accumulate the mutual adaptation from the building and the natural environment, on behalf of the local climate environment and residential symbiosis results. The article tries to analyze Zhuhai traditional residence ventilation in the planning layout to describe Zhuhai traditional residence specific practices of humid climate adaptation, to make the industry have a comprehensive understanding about the location and planning for natural ventilation of Zhuhai traditional residence.

Abstract: This paper expounds the concept of low carbon building design and climate adaptation priority, active and passive combined cycle operation, energy ,energy system integration and operation strategy four aspects, provides a new idea for the design method of the low carbon buildings.
