Abstract: Plate heat exchanger with unique advantages become dominant heat exchange equipment in heating engineering. But there is no heating regulation formula of plate exchanger applying in indirect connection hot water heating central heating regulation. This paper analysis the condition that the heating user’s system adopts quality regulation method and the hot water network system adopts quality-flow regulation method, obtain the regulation formulas of plate exchanger applying in indirect connection hot water heating central heating regulation, provides reliable theory basis on the operation regulation, energy –saving testing, etc. for indirect connection central heating system.

Abstract: Most of the Global fire incidents occurred as a result of failure in fire safety management (FSM), which considered as the most important aspect of fire safety. Several evaluation/risk assessment techniques for fire safety have been developed over time. Despite the application of this techniques and procedures there is still increase in fire disasters which portrayed the failure of FSM. This paper proposes FSM evaluation model for existing plastic factory buildings in Nigeria. Ten categories of FSM were adopted from the literature which further arranged to form criteria. Analytical hierarchy process (AHP) concept was utilized to rank the criteria of FSM base on their level of importance. Questionnaire was administered to (n=15) fire safety experts with experience in fire FSM. The data was analysed using Expert choice software. The assessment model was proposed base on the experts’ judgment. Physical inspection was then carried out at an existing plastic factory to test the model. The result suggests that there is high potential risk of fire as a result of poor FSM.

On the study of environmental decoration in modern ceremony etiquette, the paper provides the scientific guidance for the feasibility and operability in practical design from the viewpoint of ceremony etiquette environmental decoration and traditional folk culture, environmental accessory design, environmental color design, situational design and installation art design.

Abstract: University Library, the document information center, is an academic institution serving the teaching and scientific research, is an important base of information for university and society. In this paper, the architecture environment of university library is analyzed from the aspect of materialized form. And then, the library site, the main architecture, the external and internal environment, the facilities layout and so on, are given. Base on these, the ideas and implementation methods for the construction of university library architecture environment are proposed.

Abstract:

There are many studies conducted in evaluating fire safety of different building occupancies. The evaluation techniques contributed immensely in providing better understanding of fire risk in buildings, thereby recommending measures to be taken in preventing loss of lives and properties. However, the development of some of these assessment methods was based on regulations of fire safety criteria and attributes in codes and standards for a specific type of occupancies. Thus representing and suiting the features of a particular country for which the assessment methods were made. This paper proposes an assessment framework for fire safety in Plastic factory buildings in Nigeria. The criteria and attributes of fire safety were extracted from the literature and their corresponding requirements base on codes and standards. A questionnaire was also administered during the pilot survey to (n=9) fire safety experts to rank the fire safety criteria and attributes, according to the level of their importance, using analytical hierarchy process(AHP) judgment scale. Expert choice 11 software was used in the analysis. The assessment framework for fire safety in plastic factory was proposed based on the experts’ judgment, for the fire safety criteria and attributes and their requirements in codes and standards.

Abstract:

Creating a comfortable indoor environment has been one of the mainconcerns when it comes to the design and operation of buildings. Buildings are a crucial part of our daily life, on average people spends 85 % of their time performing activities inside of buildings and therefore the quality of the indoor environment is a critical factor affecting the happiness and productivity of building users.The indoor environmental quality has a strong relationship on the thermal conditions of a space which is directly affected by the amount of heat lost or gained due to the properties of the materials used, the external environmental conditions and the inner sources of heat; In consequence, efforts have to be made to maintain proper thermal conditions by means of using natural and mechanical strategies to provide heating, cooling and ventilation. While the thermal comfort is an important aspect for the average user of a building, it becomes a critical aspect when it comes to population highly sensitive to thermal conditions. Children under and patients in hospitals with low levels of immune system are more likely to feel discomfort under certain operational conditions of ventilation, cooling and heating delivery systems.Particularly in this study have been investigated the thermal comfort and thermal comfort parameters for children, toddlers and hospital patients in three locations during the typical operation of systems in late spring.

Abstract: At present, since the environmental pollution caused by construction activities accounts for about one-third of all the pollution, to develop green building technology has important significance for sustainable development in China.
