Abstract: Vast tidal flats in Jiangsu coastal areas boast bright prospects for development. Developing and exploiting tidal flats in a scientific and efficient manner will help promote the sustainable development of the environment. In conformity with the requirement of modern tidal flats landscape design, the paper discusses the significance of genius loci and explores the interactions among humans, nature and place to realize sound interaction between humans and nature on both physical and spiritual level and enable space user to develop a sense of belonging to the place that can truly become humane environment desired by humans and fully realize the essential value of genius loci.

Abstract: The essence of Bashu traditional garden is a blend of north and south garden art and formed the unique style of landscape layout. Patch - corridor- matrix is applied in this article the traditional spatial pattern index analysis method to Bashu garden Xindu Guihu relative uniformity in the landscape diversity, landscape, landscape dominance index, landscape isolation, etc to study the spatial pattern characteristics and its ecological characteristics and related aspects of the evaluation, to Bashu provide quantitative reference value for the further study of the traditional garden.

Abstract: Sichuan traditional garden is one of the important parts of Chinese traditional garden, which is also an important material carrier of local culture. Relying on the abundant natural landscape and the deep cultural landscape, landscape resources in Sichuan is very rich, but at present there are many problems in the protection. Through investigation on the present situation of the protection of the landscape in Sichuan province, referring to mature experience of traditional garden protection at home and abroad, we put forward the experience mode to suit for Sichuan local culture and characteristics of garden, and then discuss the significance and the main points of this method.

Abstract: Based on the landscape design project of Liaodong Bay Hospital of China Medical University, the paper explores the design methods of exterior space of hospital supported by CFD computer simulation technology. On the basis of simulation and analysis of the physical environment of exterior space, the paper establishes the layout of landscape space, the configuration of plant and scientific landscape design process (with final debugging).

Abstract: For the research on hill and gully landscape of Loess Plateau, to prevent water loss and soil erosion and improve the ecological environment, the paper analyzes the construction of ecological landscape from the large range to small, puts focus on small watershed and hilly gully, and chooses Baiyun mountain demonstrate area as a case to present its landscape planning and design. The research and its related activities integrated and coordinated multidisciplinaries, like the hydraulic engineering, civil engineering and other disciplines. The project constructed dams, transferred and stored water in the gully which has better conditions, achieved good results. Due to the characteristics of hill and gully regions of Loess Plateau, its ecological environment construction must be closely combined with other disciplinaries. Moreover, it is better to construct different demonstrate areas to well improve the research on macro ecological environment.
