Abstract: Nonparametric quantile regression method can be used as the first choice for some biostatistical data. Since the nonparametric quantile regression curves are estimated individually, the quantile curves can cross, leading to an invalid distribution estimation for the response. A simple nonparametric quantile regression method is proposed to avoid the crossing problem. The method uses nonparametric conditional density function estimate instead of the conditional distribution estimate to assure quantile regression function monotonous. Both a simulation study and an analysis of real salmon lustrousness data show the significant improvement of the method in solving the quantile crossing problem for some kind of biological data.

Abstract: Grey system theory has been applied widely in the fields of industry and engineering such as property industry. In this paper, we study the influence factors on the housing price of property industry, and present an influence factor analysis method based on the grey correlation analysis. Then this method is used to analyze the multiple influence factors on property industry such as GDP, population, the total amount of real estate investment, commercial housing construction area, completed commercial housing area, commercial housing sales area and urban per capita disposable income, then we conclude that the commercial housing sales area and commercial housing construction area are two main influence factors on housing price.

Abstract: In this paper, a modified optically injected semiconductor lasers model is studied in detail. More precisely, we study the stability of the equilibrium points and basic dynamic properties of the autonomous system by means of nonlinear dynamics theory. The existence of Hopf bifurcation is investigated by choosing the appropriate bifurcation parameter. Furthermore, formulas for determining the stability and the conditions for generating Hopf bifurcation of the equilibria are derived. Then, a numerical example is given.

Abstract: A large number of problems in natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, etc.) and the social sciences (engineering, economic, military, etc.) can be described by using differential equations. In this paper, we study two kinds of differential equations, i.e., the first order differential equation and the second order differential equation, and give the definitions of equilibrium point and stable equilibrium point. Moreover, we discuss the judgment methods of stable equilibrium point, and give the application of stable equilibrium point in the species coexistence problem.

Abstract: To identify the component failure propagation path in complex systems, a component failure logical model based on DEVS was established by combining the failure logic principle and DEVS formal specification at the next granularity level of component hierarchy. A series of components failure states define a potential hazard. DEVS has modeling advantages of standardized, hierarchical and modular. Basing on its own characteristics,it can be used to study failure logic modeling techniques of complex systems, model and analyse the scene of the accident process. Therefore, the paper describes syntax and semantics of component failure logic and atomic DEVS, focusing on the implementation mechanism of failure logic using DEVS, the establishment of component state space, the trigger mechanism and the corresponding output in order to establish a component failure logical model based on DEVS. At last, a Wheel Brake System is used to verify the applicability and validity of the model.

Abstract: This paper presents a differential evolution algorithm with designed greedy heuristic strategy to solve the task scheduling problem. The static task scheduling problem is NP-complete and is a critic issue in parallel and distributed computing environment. A vector consists of a task permutation assigned to each individual in the target population by using DE mutation and crossover operators. A heuristic strategy is used to generate the feasible solutions as there a lot of infeasible solutions in the solution space as the size of the problem increase. And the strategies of the particle swarm algorithm are employed to modify the DE crossover operator for speeding up the search to optimal solution. And then, the individual is replaced with the corresponding target individual if it is global best or local best in terms of fitness. The performance of the algorithm is illustrated by comparing with the existing effectively scheduling algorithms. The performances of the proposed algorithms are tested on the benchmark and compared to the best-known solutions available. The computational results demonstrate that effectively and efficiency of the presented algorithm.

Abstract: With the development of sustainable society, there are some problems of environment engineering design need to be solved by incentive models. In this paper, from a practical environment engineering design problem—carbon emission permit allocation, we present a theoretical problem, i.e., there may be multiple equilibriums in the incentive allocation model of carbon emission permit. Then, we summarize and review the main research progress of literatures related to incentive models in the fields of environment engineering design, and then give some new research topics and directions. We try to provide new ideas and methods of incentive models for solve more problems of environment engineering design.

Abstract: This paper combines the data mining technology and the rich sports consumption data resources of city household survey. By using the K-Means fast cluster method, sports consumer market models were constructed based on the different variables. Research shows, choosing sports consumption content as variables to establish clustering model is better than choosing the demographic , sports consumption content ,consumer psychology and way of life as variables to establish clustering model. According to the results of clustering, the city residents are divided into four kinds of consumer groups in accordance with the different features of sports consumption.

Abstract: With the rapid development of economy and the improvement of people's living standard, there are more and more vehicles in China, with the increase of traffic accidents. In this paper, by analyzing the factors of social influence on motor vehicle traffic accident, we establish the index system, that is corresponding relationship of motor vehicle traffic accident and factors of social influence, According to this index system, design of motor vehicle traffic accident prediction method based on SVM. Based on the statistical data of social factors and motor vehicle traffic accident in 1985-2012 in china, to train the SVM model, at the same time, the kernel function and parameters of SVM used were setting and compared. The experimental results show that, the accuracy of the use of the RBF function is 97.2%, predicted by using time 95ms, with higher accuracy and faster computing speed.

IPTV’s bidirectionality makes the viewing data available, and these data have objectivity and authenticity. According to the massive IPTV viewing data, this article applies module maximization algorithm to excavate useful patterns or knowledge of useful, potential and previously unknown. Maximize the role of user data which can make the advertisers to develop personalized, targeted advertising program, so as to reduce the advertising efforts, but they can get higher returns.
