Abstract: Simple cells Gabor wavelet transform and human visual system in the visual stimulus response very similar. It has the good characteristics of the local space in the extraction of target and frequency domain information. Although the Gabor wavelet does not of itself constitute orthogonal basis, but in the specific parameters can form a tight frame. Gabor wavelet is sensitive to the image edge, can provide good direction and scale selection characteristics, but also insensitive to illumination changes, can provide the illumination change good adaptability. These features make Gabor wavelet is widely used in visual information understanding. The two-dimensional Gabor wavelet transform is an important tool for signal analysis and processing in frequency domain in, the coefficient of wavelet transform with the visual characteristics and good biology background, so it is widely used in image processing, pattern recognition and other fields.

Abstract: In this paper, a novel coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed and miniaturized slot antenna for triple-frequency operation is proposed and investigated, which is printed on a small 20mm×20mm FR4 substrate with thickness of 1.0 mm and relative permittivity of 4.3. Through loading different slits, three perfect operating bands of 2.4GHz-2.45GHz, 3.25GHz-4.15GHz and 5.05GHz-6.25GHz are achieved respectively, when return loss is less than-10dB. Experimental results show that the antenna gives monopole-like radiation patterns and good antenna gains over the operating bands. Such antennas is suitable for WLAN 2.4/5.2/5.8 GHz and WiMAX 3.5/5.5 GHz applications.

Abstract: in this paper, a Novel slot antenna for multi-frequency operation with coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed are designed, which is loaded with slits. The designed antenna operates over the frequency ranges of 860MHz (3.11GHz-3.97GHz) and 1170MHz (5.08-6.25GHz), respectively. The proposed antennas are suitable for WLAN 5.2/5.8GHz and WiMAX 3.5/5.5GHz applications.

Abstract: Rough cutting section and excess error will cause more waste and increase cost. This paper studies pattern recognition and image processing, proposes a method to implement limited length and limited weight cutting with pattern recognition and image processing technique. The experiment results show that the system is satisfactory in operation, maintenance, cutting precision, processes levels and rates of finished products. Collecting work field’s data with cameras from long-distance, this method will not only reduce the possibility for people to work in the bad circumstance, but also operate more expediently and more reliably, making the equipment and the worker safer. Strong anti-jamming can recognize the steel well and truly with these techniques. It can reduce the length error from 80mm to 10~15mm, so it can reduce product cost, and increase success rate of the finished product.

Abstract: Disparity estimation is used to eliminate redund ancy among different views in multiview video coding in order to obtain high compression efficiency. This paper proposes a reference viewpoint selection method based on the judgment principle of block feature vectors and similarities, which can reduce complexity and increase coding performance under the premise that the coding quality is ensured. Experimental results have demonstrated the effectiveness of this algorithm.

Abstract: In this letter, a digital watermarking method which combines the singular value decomposition (SVD) and the discrete cosine transform (DCT) is presented. First of all, The Arnold scrambling and the DCT are performed on the watermark and the original image, respectively. The SVD transform is performed on the image when scrambled watermark is embedded, then the watermarked image is formed. Finally, we extract watermark from the image which is handled by halftone screens. The experimental results show that this method can achieve the highest possible robustness without losing the transparency. Also it can anti printing and scanning. All the processes do not require any additional equipment. It will bring new hope to the field of anti-counterfeiting printing with singular value decomposition is applied to the half-tone image area.

Abstract: In the process of gaining digital images whether scanning or photographing, the rugged manuscript or the nonlinear characteristic of the camera lens, etc. may lead to severe geometric distortions of the captured images. Therefore, geometric rectification of the distorted images is necessary before they can be further processed. In this paper, A careful analysis was done on the cases of geometric distortion, and then an auto-correction method is deduced. In the correction process for image scanned, global thresholding was used to extract the feature region which was needed, use Sobel operator to detect edge, then use Hough transform to auto-extract the boundary. After Hough transform, some parameters associated with the control point were obtained for correcting images. Extensive experiments proved that it can recognize the outline fast and correct geometric distortions effectively. The results show that the method was applicable and had high accuracy.

Abstract: The multi-tenant jobs scheduling problem based on MapReduce framework has become more and more significant in contemporary society. Existing scheduling approach or algorithm no longer fit well in scenario that numerous jobs were submitted by multiple users at the same time. Therefore, taken enlarging jobs’ throughput for MapReduce into account, we firstly propose an MRScheduling which focuses on meeting job’s respective deadline. Considering the various parameters which are related to job execution time of a MapReduce’s job, we present a simply time-cost model, for the aim that quantifying the number of job’s assigned map slots and reduce slots. Then, an MRScheduling algorithm is discussed in details. Finally, we perform our approach on both real data and synthetic data on real distributed cluster to verify its effectiveness and efficiency.

Abstract: Radar, aerospace and wireless communications have a lot of demand for high-speed data acquisition and storage, in these applications, there is a need to control data collection and storage remotely, so researching safe, reliable, real-time remote data recorder is very meaningful. Based on Compact PCI IPC, putting ADC and data acquisition front-end into the chassis, using a dedicated PCI bus interface chip, to transmit data via Compact PCI backplane and record data to high-speed disk array. The platform use embedded Linux operating system to control high-speed and data acquisition. Users can manage data remotely by developing the data acquisition card driver and application software.
