Abstract: This paper deals with the problem of adaptive signal detection in the presence of Gaussian noise with unknown covariance matrix. An improved adaptive sidelobe blanker (ASB) is proposed, which consists of an adaptive matched filter (AMF) followed by a whitened adaptive beamformer orthogonal rejection test (W-ABORT). A statistical characterization for the proposed two-stage test statistic is provided,under both noise-only and signal-plus-noise hypotheses. The associated probability of false alarm (Pfa) and probability of detection (Pd) are derived in closed form. The performance assessment confirms the effectiveness of the newly-proposed detection algorithms also in comparison to previously-proposed ones.

Abstract: Ad Hoc network as a wireless multi-hop network, it can expand the communication coverage. It is very suitable for emergency communication system when communication infrastructure has been destroyed and are too late to repair. In this paper, against the application scenarios and business needs in emergency communication system, and through analyses of the Ad Hoc routing protocols, performances of several routing protocols were quantitatively analyzed by NS-2. We finally discuss the results and present some conclusions.

Abstract: Second-order IIR low-pass filter is widely used in digital signal processing. A fast filter algorithm without multiplication is proposed for it in this paper. A configuration method for the filter coefficient of fast algorithm is put forward, considering the characteristic of second-order IIR low-pass filter coefficient and the filter’s mathematical model. A performance analysis of fast second-order IIR low-pass filter without multiplication is shown in the paper, and the performance of the fast filter is shown by example using MATLAB simulation. What’s more, the algorithm’s rapidity is verified by an implementation of the filter on FPGA, which turns out that fast filtering algorithm takes only 54.7% of common algorithm’s operation time to realize the same filer function.

Abstract: Optimizing the transmission efficiency of data is becoming an indispensable job in voice radio communication system. IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) standardized Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), which categorize as a signaling protocol for management and maintenance of new multimedia IP-based services. Session setup delay is one of important index of it. In order to reduce SIP signaling delay, to begin with, we analyze and study the factors affecting the session setup delay from different points, and solve the problems in good ways. In the end of the article, we contrast five compression algorithms of SIP signaling.

Abstract: Radar Level Meter is being more and more widely used in the industry field. However, due to the complex radar system, the noise contained in the clutter echo signal, and the interference within the system and hardware, it is quietly significant to study the research of radar echo reduction technology. Based on the introduction of radar level meter ‘working theory, This paper presents a wavelet transform analysis of the echo signal de-noising method. Studies have shown that the radar echo signal processing method of using wavelet transform can effectively suppress noise, remove interference and achieve echo signal de-noising processing.

Abstract: Based on characteristics of image acquisition system of high-speed and large-capacity, this paper presents a CMOS Image sensor data acquisition system that is using FPGA Chip as its core processing devices. Data acquisition logic control unit is designed by FPGA. The modular structure of the system design, FIFO, ping-pong and other technology are used in the design process to ensure real-time data acquisition and transmission. FPGA implementation of video acquisition can improve system performance. It also has a strong adaptability and flexibility, and it is easy to design, debug and so on. Through the experiment, we can get a clear image.
