Abstract: The true formation thickness missed in the geologic borehole has important sense for understanding the strata of borehole and position of target layer. Nevertheless, there had not been enough effective technologies and calculation methods to calculate the missing true formation thickness at present. To solve this problem, this paper focuses on mathematical formula combining with the actual geological conditions, collects various useful geologic data and parameters, such as stratigraphic dip, dip direction, distance from drilling well to formation’s pinchout boundary along the dip direction and difference in height between drilling well and pinchout boundary, sets a reasonable calculation method, derives a complete set of new expression to calculate the missing true formation thicknesses. The typical region, YM32 Area in Tarim Basin, was taken as the case study to prove the accuracy and practicability of the calculation method. The result was inspected by the actual data of neighbor boreholes.

Abstract: An SIS epidemic model with nonlinear incidence rate is considered. At the same time we decide that the birth rate is equal to death rate. We get the basic reproduction number . We analyze the existences of the equilibriums of the system. There are some endemic equilibriums and one disease-free equilibrium of the system.

Abstract: Saliency detection has been applied in many cases. This paper proposes a 2D hidden Markov model (2D-HMM) which exploits the hidden semantic information of image to detect the salient regions. A spatial pyramid Histogram of Oriented Gradient (SP-HOG) descriptor is used to extract feature. After encoding the image by a learned dictionary, the 2D-viterbi algorithm is applied to inferring the saliency map. This model can depict the shapes of targets, and also it is robust to the targets’ change of posture and viewpoint. To validate the model with human’s visual search mechanism, eye track experiment is employed to train our model directly from the eye data. The results show that our model achieves a better performance than eye data. Moreover, it indicates that learning from eye track data to figure out their targets is possible.

Abstract: In electric market, accurate electricity demand forecasting is often needed. Because electricity demand forecasting has become needful for creators and purchasers in the electric markets at present. But in electricity demand forecasting, noise signals, caused by various unstable factors, often corrupt demand series. In order to seek accurate demand forecasting methods, this article proposed a new combined electric load forecasting method (WSENN) which based on Wavelet Transform (WT), Seasonal Adjustment (SA) and Elman Neural Network (ENN) to forecast electricity demand. The effectiveness of WSENN is tested by applying the data from New South Wales (NSW) of Australia. Experimental results demonstrate that the WSENN model can offer more precise results than other methods that had mentioned in other literatures.

Abstract: With the fast propulsion of the informatization, a large base of semi-structured XBRL data and structured financial data have been accumulated in various business activities, including production, commercial management, transaction, government supervising and administrating, which is ever-increasing with a relatively large-scale. These huge amounts of business data surely will be distributed on the cloud in the future. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to solve this common challenging problem of how to share the huge number of structured financial data and semi-structured XBRL data. Combining the related cloud computing technology with the XBRL technology, a technical architecture and implementation of semi-structured XBRL data and structured data exchange system based on Hadoop cluster is proposed in this study. The technical architecture has certain engineering value and theoretic significance in the area of big data processing and sharing.

Abstract: In image processing, removal of noise without blurring the image edges is a difficult problem. Aiming at orthogonal wavelet transform and traditional threshold’s shortage, a new wavelet packet transform adaptive threshold image de-noising method which is based on edge detection is proposed. By edge detection method, the wavelet packet coefficients corresponding to edge which is detected and other non-edge wavelet packet coefficients are treated by different threshold. Using the relativity among wavelet packet coefficients and neighbor dependency relation, at the same time, adopting the new variance neighbor estimate method and then the adaptive threshold is produced. From the experiment result, we see that compared with traditional methods, this method can not only effectively eliminate noise, but can also well keep original image’s information and the quality after image de-noising is very well.

Abstract: In order to improve the edge detection efficiency, and decrease the impulse noise impact on the edge detection, a new edge detection algorithm for impulse noise image is proposed. The algorithm combined the median filter idea, and used cross convolution template to calculate image gradients of horizontal and vertical direction. First, detected the point that will attend gradient calculation by threshold, for the noise point, its value will be replaced by median of those points associated with it in detection window. For non-noise point, we directly calculate gradient it initial pixel values. Experiments show that, the new algorithm has strong suppressing noise ability for images corrupted by impulse noise, the extracted image edge is also fine, the outline is clear, the algorithm is better than the traditional Sobel algorithm and the wavelet transform algorithm in noise suppression performance and the detection efficiency, it has strong practicability.
