Abstract: In face recognition algorithms, Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is one of classical algorithms. But PCA algorithm needs to convert each sample matrix into vectors, which leads to a large amount of calculations in solving high-rank matrix. The essence of Modular Two-dimensional Principle Component Analysis (2DPCA) is that original images are divided into modular images, and image covariance matrix is constructed directly from the sub-images by the optimal projection matrix. But the number of features is still large and correlation still exists in feature extraction, which influences the speed of classification. In order to solve this problem, we proposed a method combining the Modular 2DPCA with PCA to reduce the dimension of features and decrease the correlation among feature parameters. The experimental results based on ORL Human Face Database show that the recognition rate of the algorithm is superior to single Modular 2DPCA or PCA.

Abstract: Study traditional Chinese medicine prescription compatibility based on multiplicative signal correction and partial least squares (MSC-PLS). Method: mathematical modeling base on MSC-PLS. Results: gain the regression coefficient and equation, VIP sorting, loadings Bi plot, and seek out the optimized direction of the prescription.Conclusion: using multiplicative signal correction and partial least squares method optimize the compatibility of the dachengqi decoction cure ileus rats is feasible and effective.

Abstract: To address this issue that the real time monitoring tag of large-scale active RFID tag system, we propose an another missing tag detection algorithm which is based on frame-slotted ALOHA protocol. By reducing the number of bits of the tag reply information, the energy consumption of active tags has been greatly reduced. Compared with that traditional detection algorithm based on tag identification number, experimental results demonstrate that HPL algorithm will reduce an order of magnitude on energy consumption of label, and at the same time, it will reduce the execution time of the algorithm. Meanwhile, compared with the best iteration ID-free protocol detection algorithm currently, HPL algorithm will reduce three orders of magnitude on energy consumption of label, and reduce the execution time of the algorithm.

Abstract: Memory effect of power amplifier (PA) due to broadband signals which adopt new modulation technique is becoming obvious, and worsening the linearity of PA. Behavioral modeling for RF (Radio Frequency) power amplifier is indispensable to design digital pre-distortion system by which we can promote the efficiency of PA. According to the simulation data in the software of ADS (Advanced Design System), behavioral models of MRF21085 amplifier can be established by MATLAB. Comparison of memory polynomial model and ADS simulation of MRF21085 amplifier demonstrate memory polynomial model can represent the electric characteristic of it exactly.

Abstract: A new wideband DOA estimation method based on Khatri-Rao subspace using uniform focusing is presented in this paper. Due to using the uniform focusing matrix which does not require pre-estimating the DOAs of signals in advance, its resolution is improved obviously and its computation complexity is reduced greatly. Meanwhile, it can also resolve more signals than the number of array sensors. Theoretical analysis and simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the method.

Abstract: At first, this paper analyzed the key technologies of the 4G communication system and the main advantages in comparison with the 3G communication system in communication rate, time-delay, spectral efficiency, etc. And then, it analyzed the smart power grids’ demand for communication technology and the limitations of traditional electric power communication. By Comparing with the traditional electric power communication, it demonstrated that the 4G communication system is suitable for smart power grids. At last, this paper prospected the application fields of the 4G communication system in the smart power grids, and also raised the issues and challenges that electric power enterprises will face.

Abstract: For the particle filter, the paper proposes an approximate algorithm for the case of unknown measurement noise and make a comparison between EKF algorithm and the approximate particle filter for estimating trajectory in a bistatic radar system. Abstract: We develop a reduced-complexity approach to the detection of SOQPSK-TG, a highly bandwidth-efficient constant-envelope waveform. The optimal detector for SOQPSK-TG requires of a bank of 2784 matched filters and 512 states, which is impractical and highly complex. In this paper, a practical detector was developed based on Laurent decomposition and frequency pulse truncation (PT) technology, with the number of correlators reduced to only 2 and states reduced to 4 at the expanse of less than 0.2dB at BER of 10-4.
