Abstract: In this paper a two-dimension BIST compression scheme is presented; the proposed scheme is utilized in order to drive down the number of deterministic vectors to achieve complete fault coverage in BIST applications. By introducing shifting compression and input reduction, vertical and horizontal compression are realized respectively to achieve two-dimension BIST compression. Experimental results show that the BIST shifting compression based on input reduction can achieve great compression rate as much as 99%. Comparisons with previously competitive presented schemes indicate that the proposed scheme provide an efficient BIST compression approach with lower storage overhead.

Abstract: According to the ruins caused by disaster, a new kind of search and rescue device SnakeRescuer is developed, which can actively go into ruin interstices to search and rescue victims. Inspired by industrial endoscope and snake-like robot which usually are used in searching and rescuing, a new kind of mechanism is designed, which has advantages of both industrial endoscope and snake-like robot. It consists of multi-section crawler modules and the base body which some like industrial endoscope but thicker and more rigid. Each crawler module is made up of four track units and could be attached to the base body and could drive the device to go into the ruins. According to the ruins of the environment, the track drive unit is designed first. Then a control method for the drive unit is designed. Finally, some basic experimental results show that the device can be applied to ruin rescuing.

Abstract: In the paper, a multisection snake-like manipulator named SnakeHelper is described. For rescue task, the manipulator is designed with cable driven and rear actuators. First, the mechanism design is presented. The manipulator consists of rear actuators, links, joints and cables. Then, some considerations on mechanism design of the device are given. The moment of the motor is calculated. The rotatory angle of each joint is also given against design parameters. At last, the kinematics analysis of the manipulator by D-H method is given.

Abstract: Acoustic vector sensor is a kind of inertial sensors. Different from pressure-sensing sensor, it can sense the angle of target under the water. Now most suspension elements are installed on the acoustic vector sensor later. This paper outlines an acoustic vector sensor which is encased in silicon rubber. In this paper, a new structure of acoustic vector sensor is present. The radial stiffness of silicon rubber spring is analyzed by using theory and simulation calculation based on the finite element software ANSYS. At last, the acoustic vector sensor is measured. The results show that the new structural design of acoustic vector sensor could reduce the adverse impact of suspending elastic suspension elements repeatedly and improve the reliability of acoustic vector sensor.

Abstract: According to the requirement of aircraft fuel quality property calculation, this paper studied pretreatment methods for tank CATIA model. Firstly, extract outside surfaces of wing skins, start and end wing ribs, front and back spars and then joint them to create a complete closed surface by additional repairing surfaces gap. Secondly, inside the closed surface, bool operation is utlized to remove actual bodies of fuel tank structures and internal accessories from the model of fuel tank. Direct accurate calculation of fuel quality property in CATIA environment is then achieved. Finally, simulation is carried out with an real aircraft fuel tank, comparison between simulation results and test data shows that relative error of pretreated fuel tank volume model is less than 1%, which satisfies engineering requirements.

Abstract: Spiral trajectory curves often occur in modern production lines. In this paper we propose a curve inference method for spiral trajectory extraction. Based on the tensor voting result of the original images, the method performs a post-processing stage and a directional neighborhood searching process which takes into account the turning angle of the pixels on a certain curve. At last the method is tested on several real images.

Abstract: Human feet are designed by nature to walk on soft soil and grass, but more and more modernization road becomes smooth and hard, leading to only some part of foot arches to bear all the weight of the body. This continues a long-term will lead to physical disease. The paper combines optical design, 3D image processing technology, mechanical design, mold design, and computer network technology to build system from the foot pressure test to the medical diagnosis and disease degree determination, and then to customer tailored insoles, tracking service, curative effect evaluation.

Abstract: As a key part feature of the machine, machine tool spindle has the characteristics of high reliability and high precision. The traditional test methods used to short the test cycle and analyze failure life of small sample data are inappropriate. Firstly, the reliability testing system of machine tool spindle was expounded; then, research status and the statistical analysis method of the performance degradation analysis used in the reliability test of machine tool spindle system were expounded. The influence to the credibility of the reliability test for machine tool spindle was put forward and analyzed: stress selection, feature selection, failure threshold selection and small sample analysis. Accelerated degradation test was given for further research in the reliability test for machine tool spindle.

Abstract: Owing to complexities of human body structure and thermal mechanism, the invivo distribution of abnormal heat source cannot be estimated quantificationally based on human body’s infrared functional imaging.Fourier regularization mathematical processing method was used to identify the relationship between the lesions’ heat radiation energy and visible data through the establishment of physical model for human thermal radiation.Through characteristic information of infrared functional imaging, the distribution and location of human body’s early cancer lesions should be found out exactly. And some exploratory experiments based on simulation materials were conducted to demonstrate the feasibility of this method.

Abstract: The ANSYS finite element analysis model for circular piezoelectric resonator is built in this paper, and experiments are carried out for verifying the validity of the finite element model. The influence of the piezoelectric resonator's fixation ways on the natural frequencies and vibration displacement is discussed, lower natural frequencies and higher efficiency of converting electric energy to kinetic energy will be gotten in the box fixation way. The researches on this paper provide a theoretical basis and effective ways for piezoelectric resonator design and optimization.
