Abstract: Results are presented for the silicon carbide (SiC) vertical channel junction field effect transistor (VJFET) fabricated based on in-house SiC epitaxial wafer suitable for power devices. We have demonstrated continuous improvement in blocking voltage, forward drain current under high temperature. The SiC VJFET device’s current density is 360 A/cm2 and current is 11 A at VG= 3 V and VD = 2 V, with related specific on-resistance 5.5 mΩ·cm2. The device exceeds 1200 V at gate bias VG = -10V. The current of the SiC VJFET device is 4 A and the reverse voltage is 1200V at the 200 °C high temperature.

Abstract: The world is increasingly experiencing a great need for additional power resources so as to reduce dependency on conventional sources, and solar energy could be an answer to that need. However, the performance of solar energy depends on solar radiation, ambient temperature, and load impedance. A practical engineering mathematic model of solar cell is developed and a general simulation model of PV cell is created based on Simulink system, which is convenient to be applied to the research and development of solar cell.

Abstract: In the actual operation by crane operator, there will appear situation that operator cannot make timely judgment on distance between crane and adjacent obstacle and cause collision accident. For this problem, this paper establishes anti-collision system on distance measurement focuses on ARM 11, on the basis based on machine vision and image procession, it considers effect of corresponding point match and extraction deviation of single characteristics point on measurement result, adopts one kind of method of distance measurement by monocular vision based on single characteristic point. The test result indicates that this system can effectively measure distance with obstacle, it has accurate measurement, high reliability and it can meet real-time requirement.

Abstract: Through the implementation of algorithm based on B-Rep three-dimensional solid modeling techniques, combination with substation, pole tower, electric transmission line and other electric power facilities, C# is used as the main development language and Microsoft Visual Studio2013 is applied to develop three-dimensional solid modeling software of electric power facilities to serve as pre-processing part of CAE system and provide software technology support for finite element analysis.

Abstract: In view of the contradiction between network cost and mobile vehicle group positioning performance, this paper proposes a algorithm based on virtual node anchor (has been positioned, not equipped with a positioning device for vehicles) and applies this algorithm to the Grid Scan algorithm, simulation results show that the improved algorithm is applicable to general positioning algorithm. compared with the original algorithm, positioning error of the improved algorithm is lower, localization rate is higher.

Abstract: When the inspection robot works outside the substation, the internal temperature of the robot will increase or reduce along with the ambient temperature and may become ill-suited for the instruments inside. According to this problem, we design an automatic thermostat based on Thermoelectric Cooler, and design the thermostatic control system. Experiments show that this system can keep the internal temperature in a proper range, and therefore improve the adaptability of the robot to the environment. Consequently, the reliability and stability of the inspection robot is greatly improved.

Abstract: The rehabilitation robot which consists of two mechanical legs and an automatic seat was produced according to ergonomics. Each mechanical leg has three DOF. It can train patients combined with sEMG signal and FES. The rehabilitation robot has three train modes: passive mode, assistant mode and impedance mode, and it suits patients with different rehabilitation phases.

Abstract: This paper defines the efficiency similarity of different motor driving devices. Based on the efficiency function characteristics which can be approximately considered a concave, non-negative function through the origin, we present a kind of optimal control method for a felt driven by three different motors in paper machine. It gives the minimum total power consumption. The optimal control method is to keep the same torque rate for each motor driving device. This method is independent of the linearity or nonlinearity of the system and has no need for the system’s state equation or transfer function. Since the shapes of efficiency functions in nature are similar, the conclusion can also be applied to the energy optimization of other general devices.

Abstract: In order to improve the mobile robot’s climbing capacity and space usage, an in-wheel driving system is designed which uses micro electric clutches. The system structure, theory and design rules is analyzed, then the in-wheel driving system is designed. The in-wheel driving system is available by dynamics simulation of automatic two shift.

Abstract: This paper analyzed the emotional design, and Chinese children's education regulations were considered as the precondition. We tried to acquire the potential demands of the children, referring to the development of robot on a world scale. On the basis above, the authors designed the emotional design-oriented a children's education service robot. The design process offers recommendations and suggestions for the concept and practice of Chinese education service robotdesign.
