Abstract: Liaoning Province is located in the southern part of northeast China,and within two first degree tectonic units,that is,Sino-Korean quasi-platform and Tianshan-Xingmeng geosynclinals fold system,it has complex geological environment,strong natural variability and frequent geological disasters. Taking GIS as a platform,selecting the factors of the stratigraphic,magmatic,tectonic,seismic and geological hazard,and using empirical weighting method,the paper analyzed the spatial relationship of geological disaster and geological background and acquired that Liaohe Group and Triassic is the major geological disaster strata and magmatic rock area is the more developed area of geological disaster,and disaster points mainlydeveloped in the Triassic of the Mesozoic.

Abstract: 3D physical model of a supermarket was constructed with Pyrosim software, and the fire scene was set according to the actual situation. The fire development process and personnel evacuation process were simulated with FDS. The fire danger time of the fire scene was analyzed according to the smoke temperature and visibility of different time. The personnel evacuation process to the supermarket was simulated with the evacuation software Evac, and the required safety egress time was calculated. By comparing the fire danger time and the required safety egress time, the conclusion was drawn that the supermarket can not meet the requirement for safety evacuation. After changing the conditions for safety evacuation, the required safety egress time was simulated again. And the simulation results showed that the changed evaluation conditions can meet the requirement for safety evacuation. The study results provide a basis to improve the safety evacuation conditions of the supermarket.

Abstract: Shanxi is one of the typical loessial areas in China, accompanied by plenty of loess geological disasters induced by rainfall. Based on the survey and compartment of geological disasters in the area, the geological conditions of them have been obtained by anglicizing the landslide, the mud-rock flow and dilapidation that have occurred. What’s more, the geological conditions, growing characteristics, and distribution law of these geological disasters induced by rainfall were summarized. On that basis, targeted preventive measures were put forward. These will provide reliable support to loess geological disaster warning work and to confirm the mechanism of hazard forming study.

Abstract: In order to solve the location problem of the city disaster emergency rescue facilities, it applied the multi-objective decision method to resolve the problem. Firstly it described the types of emergency facilities in the city and proposed the basic principles of the location decision. Then it analyzed the four factors of the location decision, and it established the multi-objective decision model of the emergency rescue facilities location, which based on the integration of traditional location models. And then it used the linear weighted sum law to solve the model, and can readjust the weights of the goals to reach the satisfying plan. Finally, it applied the model to solve the emergency shelter location problem of the new area in the Zhengzhou. The result shows the feasibility and the effectiveness of the model which used the multi-objective decision method to solve the location problem of the city disaster emergency rescue facilities.

Abstract: Anti-blast wall can effectively reduce blast load and, therefore protect human and structures from external explosion. A new kind of anti-blast wall, HESCO Bastion wall (HB wall), was designed by the QIAOSHI(China) International Trade Limite. The research about the HB wall was mainly focus on the construction of rotation model and the anti-overturn stability of the wall, but no research could be found on the blast wave pressure distribution law behind the HB wall, the anti-penetration capability and the assembling mode of the HB wall. In this paper, research progress of the HB wall has been presented, research ideas about the HB wall have been put forward.

Abstract: Due to the lack of accurate and rational quantitative means as well as theoretical basis for patrol ship configuration, a patrol ship configuration model has been presented. To establish this configuration model, factors impacting patrol ship configuration were identified, mathematical relationships between these factors and patrol ship configuration amount were determined at the same time. Furthermore, the patrol ship configuration of Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration (GDMSA) had been taken as a case study. The result shows that GDMSA should be equipped with fewer patrol ships than it has currently.

Abstract: The night train was greatly welcomed by the market because of its advantages of excellent arrival-departure time, comfortable and time saving. Now, with the development and perfection of national high-speed rail network, the basic condition of operating night train on high-speed railway has been provided. This article analyzes the adaptability of night trains running on the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway based on condition of vehicles and servicing depots along the way and then puts forward correlated suggestions. Based upon the operation scheme date of night trains on Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway, the allocation plan of night train has been studied under the existing system of railway management in our country, which has the certain realistic directive significance to practical application.

Abstract: Regional rail transit eases downtown residents gathering,improves living conditions,and develops satellite towns.Maximum operation speed and average distance between stations play an important role in transportation efficiency and function orientation.There are no specific specifications for planning regional rail transit in China,and foreign specifications are inapplicable.The paper researches the relationship between maximum operation speed and average distance between stations of regional rail transit,and calculates the matcing values of the two.Taking Beijing R1 line as an example, the paper determines maximum operation speed and average distance between stations through traction calculation and dimensionless evaluation model,and verifies each indicator.Each determined value is consistent with the R1 line planned value by comparing.The research provide decision support for future planning of regional rail transit.

Abstract: Chinese enterprises will participate in the Tanzania-Zambia railway reconstruction project and operation management by way of franchising. Analyzing the Tanzania and Zambia policy and the cargo component of the Tanzania-Zambia railway, this study put forward some relevant suggestions on the structure and conditions of rail-sea intermodal transportation. In the end, in order to flourish the economy in Tanzania-Zambia area, Tanzania-Zambia railway should have access to the port develops market, set up the logistics center and develop sea-rail intermodal transportation vigorously.
