Abstract: This paper analyzes the steps and difficulties of bus priority network design, including the bi-level characteristics of problems related to bus priority network design. Based on that, a bi-level model with the maximization of the overall bus transportation efficiency as the upper level and the minimization of bus passengers’ cost as the lower level is established and the solution algorithm of the model is studied.

Abstract: Carrying capacity calculation at high-speed railway stations is closely related to the trains with different types and arriving rules. Traditional method is not feasible to calculate and evaluate carrying capacity at high-speed railway stations efficiently and accurately. Therefore, a method to calculate carrying capacity at high-speed railway stations was presented by establishing a route selection optimization model and designing corresponding algorithm. In the method, the integration concept of calculating carrying capacity was introduced by establishing the relationship between receiving dispatching route and arrival-departure track. An approach was provided to the solution of route selection scheme and calculating carrying capacity at high-speed railway stations efficiently and accurately by considering the differences of trains with different operation modes and operation time. Case study of Jinan West railway station verifies the feasibility of the method. The presented method can provide a technical support for calculating and evaluating carrying capacity at high-speed railway stations in different scenarios.

Abstract: For the reasonable grouping of the 16 vessel traffic flow observation lines along Yangtze River to compare them with each other, essential data of nearly 6 years taken with the mean relative growth rate of traffic flow over the yearly same period set as clustering index, the clustering of the 16 vessel traffic flow observation lines was realized on MATLAB in accordance with the set index based on the basic principle and processes of Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering Method, which indicated that the observation lines can be divided into 3 classes, and particularly Jiujiang took an exclusive class obviously different from the other two. This work would provide scientific basis of grouping the observation lines in order to reflect shipping economy of the regions where the observation lines are located and to provide reference for management decisions.

Abstract: In order to explore the characteristics of electric bicycles at urban intersections, the model between speed and density was developed. Coordinates of electric bicycles were obtained based on photogrammetry, and 85% riding width was proposed to be the design width through the analysis of relationship between cycle volume and riding width. In addition, the model between speed and density were obtained through data fitting, which was almost a linear function. The speed and riding width can be obtained through the model on the basis of the volume of electric bicycles, which can provide theoretical support for the control and design of urban intersections..

Abstract: Based on the analysis of the existing forecasting methods of the urban public transit demand scale and concerning the characteristics of urban public transit demand forecasting, this paper introduces the concept of triangular fuzzy number and puts forward the fuzzy combination forecasting methods in terms of political factors. Following that, steps and process to implement the fuzzy combination forecasting are further expounded, and specific examples are adopted to prove the feasibility and validity of the method.

Abstract: This paper focuses on the research of multimodal transportation optimization model and algorithm, designs an intermodal shortest time path model and gives a solution to algorithm, constructs a multimodal transport network time analysis chart. By using genetic algorithms, the transportation scheme will be optimized. And based on each path’s code, the population will be evolved to obtain the optimal solution by using crossover and mutation rules.

Abstract: Call on the public to evaluate the transfer hub of the integrated traveler transportation hub, for it could enhance the objectivity of the evaluation and underline the people-oriented principle to the greatest degree, thus creating fair method of decision-making. Based on the transfer characteristics of the integrated traveler transportation hub and the service level of transfer infrastructure, this paper establishes the structural equation model of the integrated traveler transportation hub and explores the identification, fitting, modification and applications of the model.

Abstract: The goal is to minimize the sum of operating cost and passengers’ travel cost, and establish an optimized combinational scheduling model of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) combined with regular bus, express bus and shuttle bus. A mixed genetic algorithm based on tabu search algorithm (GA-TS) has been designed after analyzing the fundamental principle of genetic algorithm (GA) and tabu search (TS). A case study has been carried out on the combinational scheduling optimization of a selecting BRT line. By adopting the combinational scheduling model, 5.24% of the total system cost can be saved, which is quite prominent. The mixed genetic algorithm based on GA-TS can optimize the BRT scheduling system, shorten the turnaround time of operating BRT vehicles, effectively reduce the total system cost of BRT and improve decision-making efficiency and service quality.

Abstract: Due to the problems of long-term irrational traffic structure, uncoordinated transport joins, unsuccessful institutions and mechanisms, China's comprehensive transport system construction is still at an initial stage, the judgment on the construction of comprehensive transport system also lacks a unified standard. Combined with China’s general idea of comprehensive transport development, the key aspects of construction of comprehensive transport system is analyzed, the evaluation indexes of comprehensive transport system construction are constructed by the using of Data Envelopment Analysis model, providing a reference for subsequent work to construct a comprehensive transport system.
