Abstract: The amorphous/nanocrystalline Ni-Mo alloys were deposited in alkaline nickel carbonate solution in this paper. It is found that the molybdenum content in the deposit obtained in carbonate solution is to 21.76 at.% with amorphous and nanocrystalline phase structure. Under the same conditions, the amorphous/nanocrystalline alloys are more accessible to be obtained in carbonate solution as the sulfate solution. And the deposits with a tiny internal stress and tiny granules and well-proportioned grains at the substrate were relatively better and easy to be controlled with a better mechanical performance.

Abstract: On condition that OH- / Al3+ molar ration was 2.4, inorgano and inorgano -organo- montmorillonites was synthesized by titrating Na-montmorillonite with hydroxyl aluminum solution. From powder XRD data, it was shown that the interlayer of montmorillonites was increased to 1.9 nm and over. The adsorption of Phenol by four modified montmorillonite samples was also studied and the results showed that the adsorbability of inorgano-organo- montmorillonites was much better than Na-montmorillonites. The adsorption dynamics follows the laws of Bangham and Langmuir. The relation between adsorbing quantity(qe ) and equilibrium concentration (Ce )tallies with the isothermal adsorption equations of Freundlich and Langmuir.

Abstract: The production method of a driving axles used in gearbox is presented in this paper. A five-stage cold extrusion technology for forming the driving axle was made. First, simulations based on thermal-mechanical coupling finite element model were performed with Deform_2D. During the forming process, the concave appeared at the shaft end. And its formation mechanism was studied. Then the forming rules were obtained. Corresponding experiments were carried out and quality forging was achieved. Simulation and experimental results both indicate that the five-stage cold extrusion technology was feasible.

Abstract: In this paper, a quick and practical algorithm for spiral line interpolation is introduced. Comparing with the most other spiral line interpolation algorithms,the quick and practical algorithm is quick, simple and being have little error for the spiral line interpolation. The algorithm is also suited for the spiral line having numbers of pitches. The algorithm is balanced with the speed and the accuracy of caculation well. The cutting is more smoothly.

Abstract: We present a surface based system to manipulate virtual mechanical equipment. Our system can modify or deform the equipment as will. As we model the process of manipulation as a linear system which can be solved very fast by state-of-art numerical solver, our system is very efficient. We also provide an intuitive user interface for our system.

Abstract: AZ91D magnesium alloy were used as the materials in this experiment. The directly electroless nickel plating, the stannate conversion processing and the electroless nickel plating on the surface of the magnesium alloys that have formed the stannate chemical conversion film on their surface were researched. The morphologies, anticorrosion ability and the hardness of plating of the magnesium alloys after chemical conversion processing and plating nickel were analysed by scanning electron microscope, salt droplet experiment, microhardness survey etc. The result of the experiment showed that, the conversion film unions with the substrate well, the conversion coating can avoid intense galvanic corrosion after the expiration of the plating, and enhanced the corrosion resistance of the plating. The nickel plating deposited on the conversion coating has high microhardness which could provide good protection for the magnesium alloys.

Abstract: The paper analyzes the application of traditional Boston matrix method and three dimensional analysis chart method on product portfolio of metallurgical enterprise, and raises a four dimensional analysis method by inheriting their advantages and improve disadvantages. It is more effectively and practically to establish optimum product portfolio of domestic metallurgical enterprise by the four dimensional analysis method and the four elements are market share, sales growth rate, profitability and sales efficiency. When metallurgical enterprises analyze the optimum product portfolio using four dimensional analysis method, they should take sales efficiency fully into account, adjust product portfolio timely and at last realize the optimum product portfolio.

Abstract: Expandable Pattern Casting (EPC) technology has been more and more extensively applied to the production of steel castings in many countries, which brings outstanding economic and social benefits. Applying the best quality coating is one of the key measures to guarantee casting surface quality. Based upon experiments made for many times, the orthogonal experiments of five factors and four levels are adopted to optimize coating working properties and processing properties. Tested by practice, the coating performance indicators of intensity, permeability, coating property, dropping amount and flowing flat property reach a perfect state, which provided a reliability assurance to product sound castings.

Abstract: To provide theoretical basis and practical guidance of preparing copper clad aluminum composite rods by directly continuous casting, low melting point materials of lead and tin were selected to prepare composite rods of external diameter Φ12mm and inner diameter Φ8mm through adopting air pressing core filled continuous casting processing. The orthogonal tests consisting of three factors of melting lead temperature, continuous casting speed and inflation pressure at three different levels were designed to obtain arrangements of optimal process parameters that affected surface quality of bimetal casting rods in principle. The experiments showed that composite rods have excellent surface quality under the condition of melting lead temperature,375 , continuous casting speed, 10 mm/min, and inflation pressure, 0.03MPa.

Abstract: The effect of Ce on vitriol corrosion resistance of aluminum bronze alloy coating was studied by static immersing corrosion test, electrochemistry test, XRD, SEM, EPMA, XPS et al. The results show that Ce can improve the corrosion resistance of Cu-14%Al-X coastings. Selective corrosion happened in 5%H2SO4 solution and Al and Fe were prior to be etched. This alloy coatings possesses good corrosion resistance.
